I say "working reps". That's a minimum of 3x3 or 1x5
I treat it x5 cuz I suck ass at squats and had working sets of 3pl8 at my best.

Think of it this way:
Your 5RM is somewhere between 80% and 90% of your 1RM. On the squat and deadlift, it's more like 80% and on the other two it's probably closer to 90% given the muscle mass/number of muscle groups directly recruited in each lift.
That means if you have working sets for 54, 85-90, 115, and 144kg (bong here) then you can claim 1/2/3/4 for a 1RM.
So if you're walking around bragging about having those lifts as a one rep max you're still well and truly a novice and you should kill yourself.
Comfortable in lifting means you can do the reps without atrocious form.

I disagree, because it's surprising how so many people cannot even bench 135.
Very few people at my uni's gym squat or deadlifts more than 2 plates, and only one squats lmao4pl8. But then again, I feel like I'm the only person doing OHP with a barbell at my uni's gym so it could just be a weird ass exception.
