Comic creator BTFO.

That picture is fucking stupid.

Can't I be a Veeky Forumsizen, a weeb, a biologist and a history lover at the same time?

I mean, you can't deny that reading a lot will make you more knowledgeful than ONLY working out. Of course both is possible

Does that mean you spend all your day on Veeky Forums?

7/10 Spit water on my fucking expensive new monitor.

You fucking piece of shit. I posted the original yesterday.
This one was made from some fucking beta nu-male shitcunt.

and I also posted this version made out of the original.

Fit BTFO, cardiobunnies are the smartest.

Do math problems daily to keep your mind sharp.

>tfw too intelligent to lift

It doesn't sound like you have time for women with all that going on, user. Transcend humanity: fap to porn.

Play video games, specifically simulation and arcade games.

"Book smarts" do not matter in life. Problem solving is how the world works.

Every career in the world is based on the foundation of a problem existing.

End yourself.

you must be really disillusioned with severe dysmorphia if you think 1000 lb total as a natty is not impressive, especially by someone who (maybe) spends more time doing medical shit than he/she does lifting weighrs

anything is overrated when you don't understand what you are reading.

Or maybe you're just a pleb with shit taste?

>implying literary superiority.
Fuck off.

What are you lads reading currently?

Finished The Iliad recently, making my way through Carl Sagan's books right now (Pale Blue Dot, Demon Haunted World and Billions and Billions), after that going to read the Odyssey

Also reading On Food and Cooking and Starting Strength on the side

Way to hide your illiteracy and retardation, you rank plebeian.

If you can't get to 600 kg+ while still being an amateur, you should consider becoming a girl.

Oh, I remember The Iliad. We studied it back when I was a fresman in high school. Greek literature is great.

A Song of Ice and Fire 'cause I feel dumb for only watching the show.

the show is terrible
shame grrm will never finish the books now

>fat boo dodges Goku punch

You're gonna feel even dumber when D&D wrap up the show in 2 years, while Grum hasn't even finished the 6th book.

I was an avid reader for years.

2-3 books a week.

Now I can't concentrate and finish a book anymore, any fixes ? How do i pick up reading as a hobby again ? I miss those days :(

Reading Homer than going to the gym is a great combination

What do you do instead now?

>@colossill

I went to that page and it is nothing but a bunch of WE WUZ KANGS and DIN DU NUFFIN nonsense

Also the comic is plagiarized

2-3 cocks a week

It's not made by Nu males

The bald guy is supposed to be a black intellectual that's a picture of Africa on his shirt

Internet, tv, stupid shows, 1 or 2 animes.

I get distracted easily now, sometimes i do 2-3 of those at the same time.

That little?

C'MON 4 COCKS

Don't worry

Women will pretend to like you after you graduate and have money

Just finished No Country For Old Men

The books a lot sadder than the movie towards the end

I fkn hate the fact that normies share this. It implies that ripped guys can't be smart, which is really stupid. It's also clearly a way for lazy shits to keep some sense of worth. When a skinny dude who has never put in the work stands next to a ripped guy, it's obvious he's lazy. But you don't get that with intellect or education. So they can hide behind the idea that "I'm smart too!" to justifies their shitty choices.

Fuck I'm mad.

>Do you keep your brain healthy and fit?
Well, I go to uni (engineering) and read regularly, and also try to write short stories (submitting my first one tomorrow, actually) so I'm at least trying. But I also shitpost on Veeky Forums and drink a lot, so I pretty much cancel that out.

that was funny dfhdhsdgth

>normies share this
Normies don't, white knights/nice guys do this. Basically bluepilled r9k
pic related

One of my favourite people to cite when normies try to tell me lifters are dumb.

>When a skinny dude who has never put in the work stands next to a ripped guy, it's obvious he's lazy
Or maybe he has actual hobbies outside of lifting weights.

I spend the same amount of time reading (non-fiction) and excercising everyday. Not having to drive gives a good amount of time for reading, have to use earbuds on public transport to be able to concentrate though.

Inb4 Veeky Forums doesn't excercise

Kek. Other way round. If you read a big name book, and start saying it's awesome without actually forming an opinion on why, you're a fucking idiot. If you read a book, and disagree, but can form a coherent opinion on why you disagree, it doesn't matter who you're arguing with; you're suddenly thinking and trying to come up with reasons. I realised pretty early on that a huge amount of "modern classics" are shit that are written by people who had no clue what they were on about.

I'm rereading the Axis Trilogy by Sarah Douglas, then gonna read over some more of T.S Eliot's poetry and laugh at what a faggot he was.

How is Carl Sagan's stuff? I brought a book of his in an op shop, but never got around to reading it.

>I brought a book of his in an op shop
Which one user?

And they're great, I suggest them to anyone who has even a passing interest in science

I like to meditate after a workout.
Its feels soo good and gives mental gains.

Gym goers tend to be stupid, I don't know why people get so offended by an obvious fact.

I actually did have some faggot on facebook share it. I wanted to reply...but I was afraid she'd hit me with the "I'm allowed to have opinions!" bullshit. Like when she tried to tell me the apple diet was how she could get healthy for a hike.

If you have hobbies then you probably don't need to worry about coming off badly in a comparison. My wording wasn't great, but I meant that it's quite clear who is bigger or more defined when two people stand side by side. It's not so easy to tell who is better read, or who is more reasonable.

>I realised pretty early on that a huge amount of "modern classics" are shit that are written by people who had no clue what they were on about.

You must have a quadruple digit IQ user.

>Dolph designed his own roids

The 3 that i mentioned are great, start with those (Pale Blue Dot, Demon Haunted World and Billions and Billions), in that order

youtube.com/watch?v=4PN5JJDh78I
This is Sagan reading Pale Blue Dot, and one of my favourite parts of the book

...

I bet whoever made that is a bigheaded twat.

Nah, I'm decidedly average. Just some writers like Miles Franklin and TS Eliot were very, very sheltered, but wrote about life. It really does show in their writing. Eliot was constantly bitching about lack of pop culture, because he couldn't recognize it even if it hit him in the face. Franklin didn't really "get" what it was like to be a working class person.

Both have works which are considered classics. Both are kinda annoying, and I've written essays on the topic.

For the most part, classics do become classics for being good. But there are also a lot of texts that still considered classics despite being, well, arguing a point that's kinda dumb.

Sweet, I'll add 'em to my reading list. Thanks user!

>biologist
Try going back to school and studying a real science like chemistry or physics.
Biology. Man, no one gives no shits about some frogs.

Making my way through The Divine Comedy, Starship Troopers (wanted to see the differences between book and movie), and The Wheel of Time series.

>tfw a nurse and not even on 1/2/3/4 after two years

I'm not even smart or strong. If I was smart I'd be able to take my masters degree but I couldn't get the grades.

If you were smart you'd realize a master's is a waste of resources.

>no one gives no shits about some frogs.

Not him, but I recently read Armor by John Steakly. It's based on Starship Troopers, but has more "action" (I haven't read ST myself, though). I really enjoyed it, and if you enjoy the themes, you'll probably like it too. Just figured I should mention it in case you're interested.

No.

Nurses with anesthesia or intensive care specialization are in high demand. It pays better too.

Thanks, I will also try reading H.P. Lovecraft with your pre workout, gets the heart pumping.

Lovecraft is amazing. Rats in the Walls really did conjure up images of insane dudes eating their own fingers.

It must suck being so stupid. The fact that exercising increases cognition doesn't change the fact that gym goers tend to be retards to begin with, which no amount of exercise is going to fix. And again, these studies agree about cardio. Weight lifters are another level of retardation.

I take krill oil.

I remeber 1st thread with this pic. Some user pointed out that nu-male cuck who made this. straight copied somebody.

Proper nutrition keeps the brain and body fit.
Exercise increases blood flow, red blood cells, oxygen intake, and prevents neurological disorders.
Reading supposedly is really good for keeping your brain strong, instead of being forced fed stimuli your brain has to recognize the meaning of every word and how it strings together. The faster you can read the more developed your recognition abilities are.
Also stimulation of your imagination shows to keep the precuneus, posterior parietal, frontoparietal, occipital and dorsolateral profrontal bridges strong. Which can help if your job requires the use of imagination quite a bit for creating original ideas.
Coincidently enough people who are addicted to porn have a weaker connection in these areas when trying to stimulate sexual response. Since they are use to being fed stimuli instead of creating it.
Puzzles, painting, music help with a few other creative senses.
Listening to music or looking at things on a walk help with recognition and memory.
Conversation is a big one that the internet age has severely crippled and is one of the leading causes of "I can't talk to girls".
A lot of us who feel more confident typing our thoughts or venting on the internet have very little social interaction when it comes to conversing with another. So we tend to feel more uncomfortable talking, and linking the other portions of our brain (recognition, memory, imagination, emotion) when we talk.
You can recover the neuron bridges somewhat, but eventually (soon after puberty if you're lucky) the bridges are set in place, you can keep them strong for many years, but eventually all connections wear down.

Develop skills while you're still young, if you want to learn guitar start now while you have a chance. It's just going to get harder as time goes on.

I've ordered it and am pretty stoked to read it, what would you say that it's really about? Without spoilers if possible

You sound like me. It's as if I've become retarded somehow.

>Conversation is a big one that the internet age has severely crippled and is one of the leading causes of "I can't talk to girls".

Man, you are so far my favorite tripfag, you are the chemfag are you not?

Also what you are describing is extremely true. I volunteered behind a 50 year old woman, as a translator for a large group and I saw a huge difference in her and in my approach.

Our generation is too comfortable with digital communication. Way too comfortable. Woe is the newest generation who is probably even less skilled at that, if that is even possible...

but are you the chemfag that I recommended examine.com? If you are, what is your opinion on dietary fat, like eggs? Healthy or not?

No point reading reading The Illiad if you're not reading it in ancient greek, senpaitachi.

Leviathan by Thomas Hobbes

You must be the protohipster.

>real science like chemistry
Biology is like 50% chemistry
I know it's bait, but it's a terrible one.

Nah, we just had to read it in high school. You can really notice how much is lost in most shitty translations.

Jason Blaha?

I've been waiting for 3 years now for TWOW, the more I read the books the more I hate the TV show

I want to switch to chem for my post bachelors (kind of stuck in the working life right now, plan on going back to school in December). I'm feeling old as shit though, all I do is work and workout now.
Most of the knowledge i've gained is from reading, I have all types of books on the human condition, I highlight which areas i'm interested in and research them.

Also yes I did read some of the information on exmamine.com. I'm a huge supporter of dietary fat and it's one of the leading reasons on why you should diversify your diet as much as possible.
All fats are not equal, just like individual proteins strands. If you eat the same meals every day just because it fits your macros, you could possibly not live up to your full potential due to lacking some macronutrients.
The best example I can give is whey protein, you can live almost entirely on it from a protein standpoint.
hammernutrition.com/knowledge/protein-debate-which-protein-is-best.2897.html
However it's lacking a few strands in abundance that are found in other foods.

So let's get back to your question about eggs and dietary fat.
The problem with eggs is that if you do already have a heart condition (smoking, obesity related) eating too many eggs can be bad for you, like pork they have a tendency to spike blood pressure and keep it elevated for even hours after they are eaten.
From a nutritional standpoint though, there is little wrong with either.
Most saturated fats are medium chain fats (including those found in eggs) medium chain fats are found in a lot of different fruits.
MC fats are quick to be burned and quick to be stored if you over eat your daily calories. The positive to this is if you are planning on doing a lot of physical activity where you don't have time to eat (maybe working a double shift) you can load up on these fats and they will be the first fats pulled. Because they are so easily stored and used, these fats are the ones you want to get your energy from.

>strength
Check.
>intelligence
Double Check.

Yeah think it's him.

cont-
This can help you form needing to load up on carbs for energy (think keto, without doing keto diet). The process of fat to sugar also burns calories which can help you keep the weight off more.
Now medium chain fats also have a wide variety of uses, they can be used as antioxidants, lubricants, hormone conversion, the list is pretty wide and there are a lot of medium chain fats. Eggs happen to have an excellent selection of the hormone ones, but coconuts and fruits tend to have more antioxidant ones. Since these fats are first to be burned when working out, you need to make sure you eat a decent amount of them when on a cut. If you're maintaining or bulking this is when they become dangerous, because you can quickly overload your diet with them and just gain a lot of unneeded mass very quickly. By cutting them out on a bulk and switching to a "cleaner" diet you can prevent some of the fat gain on a bulk, while maintaining all of the benefits of bulking.
Short and simple
eggs good for extremely active or athletic lifestyle.
eggs bad for slow lifestyle or bulking.

The cholesterol itself is a bit of an issue, but this plays into the last portion of an active lifestyle. Cholesterol tends not to stick to the vessel walls as much in people who are active. If you stay active, you really have nothing to worry about.
If you're taking it slow and doing little physical activity (lifting a few times a week isn't enough to keep your blood pumping and your heart healthy, common myth lifters believe) the cholesterol in eggs will quickly put you over the top and into clogged artery land.
In this case eggs are best used in a variation vegetarian diet.
As in I'm eating these eggs with my rice and vegetables, which will generally make eggs the only cholesterol high food in the mix.

If you live an active lifestyle though, your body filters out the cholesterol that's bad for you as it continues to circulate and you'll piss it out.

toppest of tiers reply, you now are truly my favorite tripfag here

But what you are saying trumps them both.

Who needs a bunch of degenerate tripfags like trappy if there are proper trifags like you here.

Seriously, tripple A tripfagging right here. I am impressed.

also to ask, do you perhaps have a link that explains what you have typed out? I still see the "dietary fat is a meme" sometimes happening here on Veeky Forums. They may need to get educated or something. Also il save that link if you provide, though your text is good enough for me though.
