Honestly though, you aren't demonstrating pressing strength, you're demonstrating how much ROM you can cut off by contorting your spine and thinking you're actually "strong".

It's not like everyone can just decided to arch harder and bam, they add 30lbs to their bench. It's a skill in itself.
Powerlifting IS NOT about being the strongest, it's about moving the most weight.

Yup, I don't get how guys can be proud of having a big bench with 4 inches of ROM, it's literally the same as if you just had a flat back and did quarter reps.

These same guys will struggle to DB bench a quarter of the weight of their bench in each hand because they actually use decent ROM.

I might be misremembering, but I thought blood draining was meant to deal with a buildup of excess stuff in the blood (whether that be iron or blood cells or whatever) rather than hypertension.
