In the Greyskull LP, it says to do 2 sets of 5 reps and then 1 set AMRAP for the main barbell exercises. What I don't get is how much weight you should use for the different sets. Should you use the most you can do for the first 2 sets and then take weight off for the last set? It just doesn't make sense to me.

It says that if you go lower than 5 reps on the last set that you should reset and take 10% off. It doesn't make fucking sense.

I mean I guess it makes sense it's just fucking stupid how they call it AMRAP. When I hear AMRAP I think of 10 reps or more. They should just call it 3x5 like every other routine.

do set 3 with your normal weight and go until you can't make consistent reps

If you can do x10 at amrap set you have to double your weight next time.

It's to make sure you aren't wasting your time with a weight that's too light. If you can do 10+ reps then adding only 5lbs won't do anything

If you are interested in developing strength you will need to get used to sets of less than 5.

Do you do your squats/deadlifts last? Or the accessories?
