Just did 7+1 TNG reps @RPE9.5 with 85% of my deadlift (144,5kg.) Had to cut the vid between the 7th and 8th, but it was 5 seconds of pause for the last rep... which made it a lot harder.
Also, no back rounding! Tightening the lats really helps a lot with keeping a neutral back.

Sheiko put around 10kg on all three lifts for me in 3 weeks.
Crazy.
Testing my 1RMs next week.

Damn, those are pretty close to mine. I'm running with 130/96/170. Maybe now I'll leave my poverty bench behind.

I'm looking through the spreadsheet and may inflate everything just a tad more since most of the workouts look too 'easy', considering it has me doing less weight for less reps than I did on VD, which I found pretty easy already as is.

I've started to do a Brian Shaw-style, but with a closer grip and stance because I'm not 6'9
It looks unaesthetic as fuck but it works if you get speed off the floor

Oh I see. Keep in mind the workouts are supposed to be easy. Most top sets are gonna be RPE 8 or less as you get stronger.

I've done two AMRAP sets for the bench and one for squat/deadlift in 4 weeks, just to see how I'm going. But other than those, the workouts are easy.

Not bad, but not good either.
But it's going up really fast with Sheiko, so hopefully I'll be hitting 2pl8 soon.

Yeah, start small and then inflate them as you go on.
If it's too easy, just increase the weights.

I use what Isley once said as parameter to adjust my maxes, which was to try and keep stuff at RPE 8 for the most part when doing Sheiko.

Need advice! My max deadlift is around 400 ish right now, but any time I go above maybe 2.5pl8 my back rounds. My back bends a little bit, and then the weigjt starts moving - even though it's neutral in the set up. How do I keep a neutral spine throughout the lift? I don't wanna get injured

When I'm struggling with a squat rep, I imagine myself pushing through my quads and through my feet. Is this the same mental "cue" I should use? Pushing with the force going through my feet? And also, when should I start using my back/posterior chain in the lift? Sorry for being dumb, I haven't deadlifted in a while. I sorta learned a while back, didn't deadlift for a long time, and just got back into it.

can't post vid on mobile, but my squat is actually my best lift. 350ish squat (to parallel) and 400ish deadlift. I don't know if my upper back is weak, but it doesn't round during my deadlifts, only lower back. I do lots of pull-ups

My AMRAPs weren't to failure though, I left two reps in the tank for the bench and squat and one for the deadlift.

Stopped for squat at 275x2x5,1x4, no clue for the other lifts because I still had linear progression in me for the rest of them, but I desperately needed to cut. Might find out in Novemberish.

Yeah, the deadlift is 3rd dimensional.
You can only life an object by pushing off the floor, you most definitely push through the floor consciously.

You break the bar off with your quads then immediately pull with your posterior chain.
I imagine your shins are too far forward and your hips rise, causing your back to lift. The bar should be mid foot.

Wilks =/= powerlifting
