Split squats IMO, if it's lower body work you're looking for than definitely try to hit the majority. Split squats or lunges would be a really good choice I believe.

Good on you man, more volume is usually the solution to a lot of issues, just know when to cut it back if progression isn't consistent.

Arm work I'm INCREDIBLY lazy with. The amount of times I've just hammered out 2-3 sets on some curl machine because I can't be bothered to do some full ROM dumbbell curls is getting silly.
I wonder why my arms are a little small when I'm not really putting in the work, I need to work on that.

Chest work is another story, I am addicted to pressing right now and I've began doing a lot more pulling as that is something I've ignored. I would like to do some strict penalty rows with 100kg in the near future; I'm not too far off but I'm not comfortable with form.

Think I'm gonna ignore both of you and do some trap bar Deadlifts.

Pretty stable. I seem to keep fluctuating between 76 and 78.

For the next month, I only have access to a shitty local small town gym with just machines, dumbbells and a smith machine.

Use it as some "off season" bodybuilding work. Don't just stop at 5x12. Do 10x10 or something lol.

Hey face guy, just popping in to say I almost died yesterday, did all the squat accessory work high bar, put a belt on for the 5x8, and was definitely at RPE 10 for every set. Still gonna stick with the 5x5@75% for next week though. I think I'll just do 5x5@70% next cycle, 5x3@80% the cycle after, etc.

It's either at or slightly higher than my low bar max. Did 345x10 sumo and 5x4 pause squats before that. The pause squats also felt around RPE 9.5-10. The actual RPE breakdown was 10, 11.5, 8.5 (???), 9.5/10, 10.5. on the second set I almost failed reps 3, 5, and 8, literally went down to ditch the bar, went fuck it and then pushed harder. My quads and back feel absolutely fried today.

I'm not really having any issues at all rn regarding bench, it's more just that I think I would like to do it more for more arching, tech practice. Not even that concerned about more volume. I also dont really get fatigued from bench, so i think it should be fine.

Right now I do 3 sessions per week with splits squats every time and then focus entirely on on db bench, db rows, one arm db press etc. Training has never been so fun and my lifts are skyrocketing like noob gains, rep and weight prs every single time. Just a buda-esque reminder that if you like to casually 'powerlift' (in quotes so I don't get bullied by Isley) and the big 3 are wearing you down/hurting but you don't want your mediocre numbers to regress, stop worrying and do some movements that are fun and different and provide a different metric by which to measure your success in the gym. If you're young and want to lift for a long time and aren't close to being competitive or even really proficient there's no need to destroy yourself with ultra specific hard training, especially if it's literally hurting you.

I actually have been, wouldn't be able to get through the squat work, main or accessory, if I didn't :). Yesterday was literally the hardest workout I've ever done in my life. Reminds me of when I upped my squat from 185x3x8 to 225x3x8, except this was way harder. That time is definitely in second place though.

At 220ish lbs

Squat: 375 rpe 10 (horrendous good morning) to 380 rpe 8.5 - 9 (much more upright)

Bench 240 rpe10 to 255 rpe 9 (first bench pr in half a year)

Deadlift 475 rpe 10 to 480 rpe 9

TLDR of my review: better than sheiko for most people, variation is productive and fun (beginning and middle of program), HB PS a couple weeks out from mock meet is stupid (too much variation near the end).

Overall: vanilla wolf 8.5/10. With some changes I think it could be 9.5/10.
