I use a 40lb dumbell and do like 3 sets of 10 each arm. I also use them for tricep isolation. I have long bicep inserts but my triceps look like they were melted in to my delts.

Going to ask here, what is a good weight set to start at if your 100% new to this kind of thing? I have a set of 15 lb weights that I can lift, but not comfortably.

Just do 4 sets of 10 with 15 lbs. It might seem hard but it's not a lot of weight so it won't kill your muscles. Try to do it multiple times a day 3 days a week and you should be able to move up to 25 soon. Don't do curls all the time you need to give your muscles time to heal. Every time your muscles are sore it's because you are breaking them down. They need time to rebuild stronger than before so do it every other day. Eat protein high foods
