Napoleon can't have been from Corsica, it took DECADES to sail from Corsica to mainland Europe. Its clearly a lie created by butthurt Italians.

Yeah, they're bad at war.
The monkey in your picture was German.

just because people like to say he's literally hitler doesn't mean he was german

Napoleon was BLACK (e1b1)

Wrong. He was a TURK.

Napoleon was an American. Fuck off Euroshits.

>Dirty whites still claiming Naimpauliam Bani Al Fateh is their sultan

...

>dark hair and eyes
>large curved nose
>below average height
>consistently described as swarthy in his youth
He was definitely Italian.

>dark hair and eyes
>curved nose
>swarthy

> When met in person, many of his contemporaries were surprised by his apparently unremarkable physical appearance in contrast to his significant deeds and reputation, especially in his youth, when he was consistently described as small and thin. Joseph Farington, who observed Napoleon personally in 1802, commented that "Samuel Rogers stood a little way from me and... seemed to be disappointed in the look of [Napoleon's] countenance [face] and said it was that of a little Italian." Farington said Napoleon's eyes were "lighter, and more of a grey, than I should have expected from his complexion", that "His person is below middle size", and that "his general aspect was milder than I had before thought it."[222]
> Johann Ludwig Wurstemberger, who accompanied Napoleon from Camp Fornio in 1797 and on the Swiss campaign of 1798, noted that "Bonaparte was rather slight and emaciated-looking; his face, too, was very thin, with a dark complexion... his black, unpowdered hair hung down evenly over both shoulders", but that, despite his slight and unkempt appearance, "His looks and expression were earnest and powerful."[223]
> Denis Davydov met him personally and considered him remarkably average in appearance: "His face was slightly swarthy, with regular features."

WIR

that's a painting actually.

He wasn't Italian, he was a Seljuk Ottoman Türk.
His name was actually Năpiyon Lan bin parte.
He became so infamous and powerful because the Europeans fear the dominant empowered Turk.

Don't forget pre-mautrely balding

Napoleon had light eyes, normal height for the time and a pale face. He was not italian but corsican, many of who are light eyed and fair, like pic related Pasquale Paoli ( full blooded and no mixed corsican )

Or Edmond Simeoni, a corsican nationalist who come from a small village of a mountainous region, whith little to no foreign admixture.

Forgot the pic

Napoleon was a mutt of Tuscan and Ligurian ancestry though.

His father's italian family came on the island 2 centuries before his birth and mixed with the locals

>posting a pic of Paoli and saying Corsicans aren't Italian at the same time

What's it like being a retard?

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italian_irredentism_in_Corsica#Pasquale_Paoli_and_Italian_irredentism

>The "Babbu di a Patria" (father of Corsica), as Pasquale Paoli was nicknamed by the Corsican Independentists, wrote in his Letters [10] the following message in 1768 against the French invaders: "We (Corsicans) are Italians by birth and feelings, but first of all we feel Italian by language, roots, customs, traditions and all the Italians are all brothers for History and for God.... As Corsicans we do not want to be slaves nor "rebels" and as Italians we have the right to be treated like all the other Italian brothers.... Either we'll be free or we'll be nothing.... Either we'll win or we'll die (against the French) with our weapons in our hands.... The war against France is just and holy as the name of God is holy and just, and here on our mountains will appear for all Italy the sun of liberty."

Culturally ? Yes, at the time when he wrotes that, Corsica was out of 4 centuries of genoese rule. Politically ? He just wanted the island to be equal to its neighbours, the italian states, that's why he wrotes that. It does not mean that he or the corsicans were ethnic italians.

Corsicans are unironically more 'Italian' than Genoese are. Their local dialect is closely related to standard Italian while Ligurian is Gallo-Italic shit which can be classified as it's own language even.

Corsican are genetically the closest to sardinians and tuscans depending on where they are from

You got btfo stop trying to save face nigger

Napoleon studied in a French military college, that's what counts.

Some of the best generals in history came from Italy peninsula. Caesar, Scipio, Marius, Argicola

His brain was just fcking superior to anyone,
He had the analytical abilities, the memory of an autistic sprinkler without the disadvanges while having a willpower and desire to dominate extremely strong.

Apparently this fucker forgot that Corsica was French before being Genoan...
Actually Corsica was almost always owned by someone, this is their only identity.

>without the disadvanges
When he was a boy at school he spent almost all of his free time in the library reading books and had almost no friends.
As a young man, he was socially awkward, had a tendency to be kind of melodramatic, and he couldn't take a joke. He made weird sarcastic comments at the wrong times, spilled his spaghetti whenever he tried talking to a girl, but most of the time he didn't talk much because he didn't want people making fun of his accent. He had pretty terrible social skills before he met Josephine; she had to rescue him from awkward situations many times while he learned how to act like a normal person in social situations.
When he was First Consul, there was a notable incident in which he broke down and started autistically ranting and raving in front of everybody and making bizarre threatening remarks against the British. There's even a political cartoon of this.

You DO realize that ethnically there's little to no difference between north italians and southern-east french?

I'm pretty sure this is a classic case of anglo propaganda

If Napoleon had lived just a few years longer, we could have had photographs of him as an old man. Same with Beethoven.

...

Oh, definitely, but for it to have been believable or effective means he must have already had a reputation for being kind of autistic to begin with, so that people could easily see him as being the sort of person to do something like that.
It's like how caricature, for example, is about exaggerating what already exists, not making things up completely. (e.g, if a caricature of somebody shows them with a huge nose or ears or whatever, then you know they must be kind of big in real life otherwise there's no point in drawing them like that.) If a political propagandist takes a completely normal and well-adjusted guy and portrays him as an autistic lunatic, that's not caricature, it's just fabrication. It's not going to be very believable, since people know he's not like that. If, however, the guy is a bit of a sperg to begin with, then exaggerating his autism can make for a very effective caricature.

corsicans are an Italic people genetically, linguistically and culturally.

WAREN

He lost.

Italic =/= italian like germanic =/= german

That's the point though. Corsican is the sub-ethnicity of the Italic ethno-linguistic group. Italian is a nationality.

>Cosican language is the closest one to Italian after the Tuscan dialects.

Top KEK, nigger.

So how are the corsicans italians then ?

He was polish. It can be proven by his receding hairline

Language =/= ethnic group, Romanians are slavs but they speak a romance language, that does not mean they are latin

Solemnly watch on as yet another thread slips away into racist debate

And what are they? French? Hahahaha.

Their language is basically Italian with some Sardinian and Sicilian words.

>Corsica was French before being Genoan...
It was owned by Pisa

Na'a-po li-o'n was a proud Samoan you fucking bigots.

It's just french people and their identity issues

They are corsicans, the descendants of the Corsi people that lived on the island.
They had no admixture from the invaders because they fled in the mountains that remained uncolonized by the etruscans and romans. When Pisa and Gnoa ruled the Island, they didn't mixed with the locals but ruled them administratively unless for some cities like Bonifacio where the people still speak a ligurian language. The only italians were the few tuscan nobles that were awarded the island as fief during the middle age, like the Massa family.

I'm legitimately sad that Napoleon lost. So much talent and glory, brought up from the most remote island in europe to become the most powerful person in the world. It was just like a fairy tale. Europe could have been united now.

Modern Italians are genetically the same as the Romans, so I think is fair that they can claim their military achievements

Nah the history of this island is a massive clusterfuck. They were owned by Francs, Saracens, French, *whatever the name* Italians, each and every power of the Mediterranean world, several times and not in that order... They have no ethnic roots, and their "language" is just the remnant of their first litterary master, who happen to be the closest dudes. But they could also speak an arabic or germanic dialect, it's just an accident.

KAISERS

But Hitler was Australian

WE

The majority of them are genetically indistinguishable from Tuscans with a minority of people in the south overlapping with Sardinians.

>genetic studies
>in France
I wish it were true user, but it isn't.

So did everyone else in history

Italy beat the micronation of Rose Island (look it up).
That's about the only war they won.

Nedeljko "Najbolje" Bogdanovic was actually from Crna Gora. He was descended from old Montenegrin clans. The French looked down on him because he was from a small remote mountainous country where his countrymen were stereotyped as being fierce and tribalistic hill billies, who had a long history of being bandits and resistance fighters in the mountains and forests, but who usually just sit in their villages drinking sljivovica and holding old feuds? Where else could he be from but the Balkans?

They beat the Turks
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Italo-Turkish_War

Italians as a nation have been shit at war.

Individually, Italians have made up some of the best officers and generals in Europe.

Everyone knows Napoleon is kenyan

Napoleon was greek.
