I keep my head down and listen to music, but people come up to talk to me. Usually about gym gear, form help, routines. It bothered me at first but now I don't mind.

There is this one guy I see almost everyday that comes in and goes round and does chest all day everyday and tries to speak to all the regulars. Does my head in watching him, just fucking do your workout and leave you cunt. I would say he spends about 2 out of his 3 hour daily workout talking to people. He talked to me once when I came in wearing a Motorhead T Shirt, and wouldn't leave me alone for 10 minutes whilst he talked to me about Ace of Spades. Annoying cunt hasn't spoken to me since thankfully.

Made friends with 2 powerlifter lads and 1 grill including a british record holder who I squatted with today.

Chatted about bikes for a while with 1 guy who works there, casual hi you alright mate with another 2

how autism r u fucks

Since April.

>Chat with retired gym teacher who is there to guide people into routines. He hasn't been in in awhile.

>Permabulk lifter I have not seen in awhile.

>Construction dude in his 50s who's there just to stay healthy.

>Nice janitor who quit. He was the only one who knew how to do chemicals in the hot tub.

>Old Puerto Rican guy who I can barely understand.

>Turkish dude who only uses the sauna and looks like Koksal Baba.

There's this gorgeous mid-30s woman who is from East Europe origin I wish I could take to. No wedding band, black hair, blue eyes and 5 feet tall. Practically my dream woman. Too autismo to find an excuse to talk.

Caught her mirin in the mirror when I was doing 1 arm pull-ups. Saw her bite her lip.

2. All of them speak to me and I answer. I've gone from the pudgy 190lbs lanklet to a 245lbs beast, people now assume I know everything about anything. The questions I get are so bizarre I usually have no idea how they know I know the answer.

People have apporoached me and I've approached people before just to chat about lifting weights and whatnot. It's nice to have conversations with people after spending 9 hours sitting at a laptop completely alone in a room.

I'm sure once the school year starts I'll be less talkative at the gym

Uni gym btw

Everyone. Literally everyone from the manager to the cute cleaning girl who just finished school to the young kids who idolise me. However I dont "talk" to any girls when gf is around, I just nod respectfully because my gf is violent.

6 years on and off, three different gyms.

Aside from people I knew before, two. One was a skinny coworker I saw once and never again, and the other was this Christian dude trying to get me to join his little cult club. After I turned him down I never saw him again either.

One time someone asked to show me what I was doing wrong; another time someone asked me to spot for him. I sometime nod and as for remaining reps to people on machines I need, but who the fuck wants to talk to others? I got my earphones blasting music I like, unlike the garbage on the gym's system, I do my 45 minute routine and get the fuck out of there.

Whoever goes to the gym to make friends is doing it wrong, in all honesty autism aside. Since I go to the uni gym sometimes I say hi to people I know from uni but that's it. I'm there to train not to talk with people, if I wanted to hang out and talk with someone I'd go to a bar, not the gym.

Man you know dont fucking talk to me, I´m fucking, I-i, I´m here to train, I´m not here to talk and I dont got time to listen to your bullshit, you know I´m saying

I'm an autist but I know how to dodge a conversation without being this edgy, lad.

i dont go to the gym to socialise, i get my workout done and i go home

if i had some space and money i would just buy some shit myself instead of paying some guy £20 a month to use his shit

No one even fucking talks to me. I had one guy ask me if I was doing stronglifts and I said haha nah man I'm following rippetoes. He didn't even know what to say

There's the regulars in the gym floor, it's mostly small talk. With the women in my spin class about what's going on in our lives and stuff. I'm usually there 20 mins early (after I'm done lifting), so I had the option of never saying anything or getting to know people.
