>ISHYGDDT
I second this
Can't go wrong with Pantera, OP.
...
Good metal workout music has a mid-tempo driving rhythm, not too fast or you lose your rhythm, not too slow or you never get going, and not wonky math/noise rock or you don't have a rhythm to follow. You want something that acts like a pace setter.
Godflesh is a good example of this

Vektor - pretty much anything, but this new album is some of the best metal to come out in 2016
youtube.com
Ascension - Consolamentum - the album is made to listen in one go, but except for the first and last song you can listen to everything individually
youtube.com
Disma, pretty heavy and slow

Grave Miasma

Pseudogod
youtube.com
Also, Overkill, Summoning, Immortal, Inquisition (the newer stuff), Acrimonious, Cult of Fire (really great stuff, but only certain pieces work as workout music)
Yes, I'm an edgelord

If I crank Mastodon I'll PR a Jefferson deadlift everytime, that's probably more to do with eating carbs for the first time in like 7 months though.
Shades of Black
SABATON
A
B
A
T
O
N
Good taste.
Lamb of God
Pantera
Iron Maiden is alright, Bruce Dickinson's golden voice can be kind of a letdown when you're lifting in my humble opinion.
Rammstein if you just care about the actual sound and not lyrics, probably one of my favorites to work out to.
Sabaton is nice, however can be repetitive.
