found the dumb jock
its 16
apple = 10
banana = 4
coconut = 2
Nice b8
found another idiot
wow you guys haven't been working on your brain exercises at all!
not an argument
>Veeky Forums
fucking meatheads
make an argument.
How is it not 16?
14
Apple = 10
Banana = 1
Coconut = 1
oh look the retard can't do basic arithmetic...poor guy.
15
no, 1 - 1 does not equal 2
i knew this is a b8 thread a while ago but you're triggering me with your non arguments
1 - 1 does not equal 2
No shit. It's 4-2.
sorry jockie...maybe you should look at he seems to have been working on his brain gains...
By not taking the b8
14
It's 14.
If you can't work out why your literally retarded.
...
2.
look at the fucking picture, you dumb piece of god damn shit.
Explain further
What further explanation do you require?
Break it down and explain your answer.SHOW YOUR WORK
You guys are all idiots.
> answer is 64
> not adding all the outcomes for maximum neuron hypertrophy
> still thinks he's gonna make it
This isn't a math problem, it's a spot-the-difference game. It more a test of autism than brains.
There are actually four options, we haven't been given enough information to draw a correct conclusion. All of the symbols are used repeatedly, but the two coconut halves are not the same picture, therefore, we can assume they are different variables.
The apple is 10
The banana is 4
in order to get 4-(xy)=2, the multiples of x and y (the two coconut halves) have to equal two. There are four options to do this
1. x=1, y=2
2. x=2, y=1
3. x=-1, y=-2
4. x=-2, y=-1
The coconut in the bottom problem is x, so the final problem works out to be 11, 12, 14, or 15
It's 4 am and I have work tomorrow, and I'm doing fruit math. Goodnight Veeky Forums.
ONE APPLE + ONE APPLE + ONE APPLE = 30
>30/3=10
ONE APPLE + FOUR BANANAS + FOUR BANANAS = 18
>(18-10)/2=4
FOUR BANANAS - TWO COCONOT HALVES = 2
>4-2=2
ONE COCONUT HALVE + ONE APPLE + THREE BANANAS = 14
>1 + 10 + 3 = 14
3*apple = 30
apple + 8*banana = 18
4*banana - 1*coconut = 2
apple = 10
banana = 1
coconut = 2
0.5*coconut + apple + 3*banana = 14
it looks like the bananas in the bundle of 4 are from a different picture than the bananas in the bundle of 3 too
this is the only (autistically) correct answer
Coconut = 2
½Coconut = 1
I have a PhD in Chemical Engineering and I'm currently working towards another in Applied Mathematics part time.
Yet, when I enter a bar where no one knows who I am the filthy normie cocksuckers always assume I'm a dumb jock.
yall niggas have some serious autism looking at each individual piece of fruit
underrated
The answer cannot be found because a picture of one coconut and a picture of two bananas haven't been defined.
There's no reason to assume a picture of one coconut represents half the value of a picture of two coconuts just as there's no reason to assume a value V is half the value of a value W just because a W looks similar to two Vs.
thats a really good point actually
Welcome to Veeky Forums
this is bait. Probably from Veeky Forums. fuck off. sage.
A = Apple
B = Banana
C = Coconut
A+A+A=30
A=10
A+4B+4B=18
B=1
4B-2C=2
C=1
C+A+3B= 14
Greater than 12 less than 13. It's inconclusive because the banana is half than the other units but there seems to be a third banana that isn't in the other examples.
This thing is retarded meant to make people appear dumb when really its just bastard's trickery.
How can you fuck up math so quickly?
>all these meatheads
lmao @ ur lifes faggooos
Count the bananas each time.
Count the coconuts.
Apple = 10
Banana = 1
Coconut = 1
>three apples make 30, so one apple must make 10
>one apple and two bunches of four bananas makes 18
>subtract the apple, two bunches of four bananas make 8
>remove one bunch, one bunch of 4 bananas makes 4
>one banana is 1
>one bunch of four bananas minus two coconuts makes 2
>each banana is 1, so the whole bunch is 4
>4 minus 2 is 2, so the two coconuts make 2
>one coconut is 1, like with the bananas
>one coconut plus one apple plus three bananas is 1 plus 10 plus 3 which makes 14
The answer is 14
1 + 10 + 3 = 14
>i knew this is a b8 thread
>but you're triggering me with your non arguments
pick one
boo ya. nice argumeme, friendo
nice post. I enjoy all the different revelations that have been made in it.
1. Answer is 16 if you group all the objects together as their intended items i.e bananas = bananas.
2. Answer is 14 if you treat each item as a group of individual items, i.e problem 2 has 2 groups of 4 individual bananas, problem 3 has 1 group of 3 individual bananas.
3. Answer is inconclusive b/c treating each group shown as a unique property reveals the fact that some elements are undefined. We see that the group of 4 bananas has been defined, but we are assuming that the group of 3 bananas shares the same, linear properties as the group of 4? This option chooses not to believe that assumption.
I think it goes to show that as a collective group, we are all smart.
3x = 30
x = 10
x + 2y = 18
10 + 2y = 18
2y = 8
y = 4
y - z^2 = 2
4 - z^2 = 2
2 = z^2
z = +/- sqrt(2)
z + x + y = sqrt(2) + 10 + 4 or -sqrt(2) + 10 + 4
=14 +/- sqrt(2)
Dumbasses
>mfw I get devil quads and the right answer
Today is a good day.
There's two coconuts on line three you dumb niggers
i think it's safe to say that the two coconuts can be represented by 2z, not z^2.
There's 4 banans in all except the last one where theres 3.
Mind. Blown.
Are you retarded or something?
>The answer can not be found because they haven't taught algebra in my middle school yet
BAM!
apple = 10
banana = 4
Coconut = 2
2 + 10 + 4 = 16
babby tier
how do we know that the coconut is split precisely half way?
18 nigger
16
Took me like 10 seconds
Oh sonava bitch
The correct answer is fruit salad
...
...
>not understanding basic reasoning
At least he went to school, user
stfu commie
14. Each banana in the bunch counts as one and each half coconut counts as one. An apple is obviously a 10. This is not math. This is just attention to detail
3A = 30
1A + 2B = 18
- 3A - 6B = - 54
- 6B = 30 - 54
- 6B = - 24
B = 4
A + 8 = 18
A = 10
4 - C = 2
C = 2
C + A + B = 2 + 10 + 4 = 16
Are you perhaps a freshman college student taking his first philosophy and science classes?
But it was never implied that the amount of fruit mattered or made a difference in the equation. You're just assuming that it does. I still stand by my result of 16 as the correct answer.
one apple represents 10 yet the number of bananas and coconut halves pictured is important? does each coconut half equal one thing or 1/2 of one thing?
OPs numerical representation system is faggotry
>hurr durr i got it wrong but somehow you're the retard here
fuck off you imbicile with a trip
So why is it Banana - CoconutCoconut instead of Banana - Cococonut - Coconut if the coconuts are two different things? Otherwise it'd be coconutxcoconut, making the answer to that row 3
15
its retarded trick question bullshit. theres 2 bunches of bananas and two coconuts. this is kiddy 4th grade bullshit.
apple=10, banana=8, coconut=6
You're retarded if you couldn't do some simple arithmetic
So if the answer to that is 3, then what is the answer to the final equation jockfuck?
nice quads bro
apple = 10
banana = 4
coconut = 1
a + b + c = 15
only correct answer
>So if the answer to that is 3
But it isn't, that's the problem
how the fuck did you get coconut 1 you fucking retard?
4 - X = 2
X = 1?
Fucking retarded faggot, you should kill yourself
3x = 30 -> x = 10
x + 8y = 18 -> y = 1
4y - 2z = 2 -> z = 1
x + 3y + z = 14
> tfw good at math
x = apple
y = banana
z = coconut
3x = 30
x = 10
2y + 10 = 18
2y = 8
y = 4
4 - z = 2
z = 2
2 + 10 + 4 = suck my dick
subtract lines 2 and 3 to get 16
We don't even know the weight of the coconuts, apples, or bananas in question.
What were their countries of origin and port of entry. Based off of declining weight and ageing of fruit before sale we can't assume they all have equal value.
Something along the lines of
Apple = 10(x-0.05) where x is the amount of days off the vine would be more helpful than just a random solution.
Also what type of apple for example. There are endless possibilities here, who's to say 30 is appropriate. If we're doing algebra then
Apple +Apple +Apple=30 where 30+Apple=+Apple+Apple meaning 30Apple=2Apple
30Apple/2Apple = 15Apple
15=Apple
fucking idiots
>good at math
>can't even count
Where?
14 you fucking idiots.
Also just for the record you can't define 1 coconut because then you are assuming a value for 1Coconut based upon the value of 2Coconut.
Image is not based on value, and if we are to assume it does you'll all notice there's a banana missing in the final part of the equation also.
The answer is 14
>Apple +Apple +Apple=30 where 30+Apple=+Apple+Apple
>1 + 1 + 1 = 3 where 3 + 1 = 1 + 1
LOL
It takes a very special mind to see past the belief and necessity of value and balancing. It is only important that the system works, not that it shouldn't.
Don't fall for it guys
...
theres two bunches of bananas and two coconuts.
ill put it in a way that isnt meant to be a trick question for 4th graders.
a + a + a = 30
a + 2b + 2b = 18
2b - 2c = 2
c + a + b = x
(1) + (10) + (2) = 13
>4 bananas = 2 c
>3 bananas = c
LMAO
youtube.com
Apple = 10
Banana = 4
CoconutCoconut = 2
Coconut = sqrt (2)
Apple + banana + coconut = 14 + sqrt (2)
i just assumed its a bad shop and meant to be 2 bananas considering that only the end of the banana is showing.
thats why you dont use shitty, poorly shopped graphics as your variables.
C'mon guys, whoever did this is just trying to take advantage of the fact that most people won't bother to count how many bananas and coconut halves there are. This is real simple, no variables necessary:
Apple = 10
Single Banana = 1
Half Coconut = 1
That makes the answer 14
>obviously three bananas are shown
>"dude I thought it was a photoshop lmao"
