Bad immune system

Am I the only one overly picky with my lifestyle and still have the worst immune system?

The doctors just say "immune system can be bad sometimes, just eat enough C-vitamin and garlic". But this has been going on for almost a year now. Having colds every 2nd week, lasts for about 1 week or more.

- Supplements: High quality B-12, Iron, C-vitamin, D-vitamin, multivitamin for females, magnesium, zinc, BCAA, whey
- Diet: 16:8 periodic fasting, mainly vegetarian (meat once or twice per week)
- Body: normal (neither underweight or overweight)
- Excercise: 4 split weights, yoga once or twice per week, climbing once a week, cardio sporadically (running one hour)
- Lifestyle: stressing a bit I suppose but not on the weekends. No alcohol.
- Sleep: 7-8h
> More tips on better immune system would be appreciated, or other tips.

How your social life? Relationships are surprisingly important for health

Like you don't know the answer to that already

Going outside helps alot.
Best thing you can do is go running on a forest trail or in a park three times a week, 30 minutes each. The fresh air will flow through your lungs and stuff. Other than that avoid getting cold or wet in your every day life.

>/thread

Could be stress related? Start meditating and then also look at the wim hof method; interesting immune system/meditation/cold therapy technique which is really promising.

haha! Yeah that is why i mentioned it. I done a lot of reading on the importance of relationships and how terrible the effects of loneliness can be. It pretty much comes down to this: If you want good health you need the social aspect of your life in order. Google it

I haven't been a social person for years and I never get sick. OP should go to the doctor again and get a test or something. Getting colds every other week is not normal.
Did you have an extremely coddled upbringing? Kids that grow up on farms or eat a lot of different foods growing up have way better immune systems than kids who weren't exposed to anything dirty ever.

Perhaps I should start exercising outside again, Im only running indoors. I always had good immune system before, and I did run outside. Thanks ill try

ill look it up! I'm meditating for a bit but not so much currently.

No, quite the opposite, lot's of animals too. Today I'm avoiding bacteria etc alot since Im always afraid of being sick. Could it be too much?

So how lonely are you?..

There are the exercises!

paper where some researchers put his method to the test.

>- Diet: 16:8 periodic fasting, mainly vegetarian (meat once or twice per week)
heres your problem

also dont use supplements
also dont run. walk in slow pace everyday instead for cardio

I really hoped it didnt have anything to do with PF because it's like the best that has happend to me diet-wise. I have googled and all I find is how people get better immune system from it, wtf?
But it sure can be it, since I started with it about a year ago.
Why should I quit vitamins etc?

How many doctors have you been to, user?

I'm not that guy but fasting is fine don't be silly

My suggestion would be to try probiotics if you're not already. Kefir (home made with milk grains) is best but there's a ton of stuff that has probiotics in it, mainly fermented foods. So sauerkraut, some pickled things, yogurt (some yogurts are way better than others....). Outdoor exercise is a good idea, as are cold showers.

Hope it helps

Two.. they did some allergy tests and bloodsamples (all okey)

Thanks, I will try it.

vegetarian means you dont rely on energy for glucogenesis from protein. so what you eat doesnt stay in your system that much. glucose is good for body, its the building block. and you are in absence of it for long time of the day. vegetarian is bad because animal protein is very good for body. also animal fat too -tho it can be fattening. supplements are not natura, therefore not good. we cant be sure what we are takin in our body with that pills. and i dont trust to medicine industry. hell, it might be even sickening us to buy more- i would speculate. running is a high maintenance exercise and not that natural for the body. so, open to injury on your knees, tendons etc. also its tiring and keeps you away from your bodies resting process after lifting. walking will not damage you in any way but its good for many things.

One more thing before I go to bed, if you do those breathing exercises above and do start doing cold showers/baths here's a mental tip to help start off: Think of the water not as the warm, comforting awesome thing that warm showers are. When doing a cold shower focus on it as been cool, refreshing, and exhilarating. This bit of mental gymnastics helped me all the way from cold showers to middle of February open water 30-degree-outside swims! Got way better at handling cold after trying to fool myself lol

Good luck!

Good advices. I work outdoors and although it seems counter intuitive I never get sick even after being rained on all day in winter.
Back when I worked indoors I was sick all the time. I don't think it matters how good your immune system is if you're stuck in the same germ filled recycled air for 30 hours a week.
But def go see a doctor and have a routine check up done, could have some underlying causes no amount of broscience will fix.

Reading about it now, seems really faschinating. Trying! Thanks.

Mate, are you honestly that fucking retarded?
Humans explicitly evolved with the ability to run long distances, one of the main reasons we dominated animals back in the savannah was because we could injure them and chase them down to exhaustion. Sure, doing intense cardio every single day isn't great for you but to say that running isn't natural may be one of the stupidest things I've read.
Also, using supplements to correct deficiencies is incredibly useful, though pointless if you haven't any deficiencies.
being a vegetarian isn't bad for your body, you can still consume animal protein in the form of eggs and dairy products, as well as various complete plant proteins.

okay. to each their own

stop eating grains (especially wheat) and dairy products. did the trick for me.
running is natural, sure, but so is only living for around 30 years. running can fuck shit up easier now that we live a lot longer.

I think maybe the problem is that humans now are so tight and immobile that running poses a threat because it's such a shock to the system.

why would being immobile make any difference when running doesnt put you at any extreme position where mobility would matter?

pjmedia.com/lifestyle/2014/4/22/why-you-should-not-be-running

Don't know, just speculating really.
interesting article, except not really. Getting quite tired of this meme that cardio kills gains, when really most of the people concerned with this shit are DYEL.
Cardio is a key part of being a healthy human being, this article from T-nation: t-nation.com/training/do-cardio-keep-your-gains is quite interesting.
When you think about the average person here just does SS 3 times a week and then is immobile for the rest of the week, then consider themselves healthy is just laughable.

cardio does not kill gains (think HIIT) but you cant seriously say endurance training isn't antagonistic to strength training.
> then consider themselves healthy is just laughable.
define healthy

did you even read the article? talks explicitly about how zone two, steady state cardio can maintain gains.
I think it's about specialisation really. Of course you can't be super strong and then have amazing endurance, but you can be pretty strong and do medium levels of cardio.
Healthy is such a catch all term but doing SS isn't going to really improve blood pressure, heart rate, other markers of general health such as triglycerides, insulin levels, C-reactive protein, VO2 max etc

>Could it be too much?
no, unless you're drinking bleach to kill your gut bacteria you should be fine

Find a practitioner and do a Kambo ceremony. Uncomfortable shit but I haven't been sick since, and my deadlift miraculously went up by 10kg the next week.

the article is ridiculous
>because Zone 2 work is done at such a low-intensity, there's less chance it'll have a negative effect on performance in the weight room, where you're encouraged to be more explosive and fast.
im not supposed to be explosive and fast in the weightroom. im supposed to be intense, and low-intensity training is counterproductive to this. how is this that hard to understand?

> SS isn't going to really improve blood pressure, heart rate, other markers of general health such as triglycerides, insulin levels, C-reactive protein, VO2 max etc
actually, strength training is one of the best ways to improve many of those things
unm.edu/~lkravitz/Article folder/resistben.html

Overtraining or you have something psychological going on.

>bad immune system
>bloodwork from two doctors saying good
Bullshit. If your immune system is shit, your white blood cell count would be affected.

Different strokes for different folks I guess.
Interesting website you sent, a good read.
I honestly don't care enough to even comment anymore. Have a nice one

Fruits and vegetables for prebiotics, fermented food, or pills for probiotics. Kefir is your best best. Stomach vacuums daily.

I should make a copypaste on kefir, but here goes.

(corporate half truth scaremongering, still kinda truth though)

(also some extended lore outside of the stomach)

Also this is now copypaste.

They only checked it once, when I had been sick for one month, it was pretty low. They said something about viral infection. My throat was svollen and red. Just coughs.

Don't forget this one.
anabolicmen.com/probiotics-and-bacteria-for-larger-testicles-and-testosterone/

I read it, its a little bit introductionary and simplistic as it mentions only two research pieces, but it still mentions a different segment. Il add it to the paste.

Take Zetop 2x a day (It says once per day but fuck it ive been taking double dose dose for a while) try for a week and I can almost guarantee your colds will fuck off

also, any more? I saved the biggest controversial pieces in my browser. But there were a few other pieces that may have slipped by during the years.

There is still the topic of poop transplants. Kefir, probiotics etc.

Need to add a solution to the problems presented in the paste. Kefir is the least corporate one though.

But it even goes deeper with things like pic related.

and pic related.

What kind of vegetarian diet are you on?

If its mostly carbs, just go kys ffs.

Add more meat in. Supplements are poor substitutes for actual nutrients from real food. Go outside more. Being a germaphobe weakens your immune system.

>also, any more?
Afraid not, I was planning on going on a research binge, but I found too many videos and articles of weird hippies making their own kefir and being generally intolerable, so I got put off the whole thing.

and pic related still.

Dont forget the fact that most of the kefir bacteria get neutralized in the stomach, only about 5% or less of them make it to the digestive tract.

and its a shame that you stopped. Well perhaps there is no other choice, its a relatively new area of research so we are forced to wait for actual scientists who are interested in this topic.

The key is to be a total shut in so you're not exposed to bacteria and viruses at all. You're making the mistake of being around disease bag normies without maintaining the sociability necessary to fend off their normie diseases.

Lakto-ovo, low carb, lchf, high protein
Lenses, beans, nuts, seeds, oils, legumes, egg, dairy, vegetables etc.

Meat 1-2 times a week just because being paranoid it's that.

Absolute bullshit, stop posting scam

(((you)))

im laughing so hard at immunelets, you are the second coming of nu-males
i think its caused by too much germ protection. i get sick once a year even though im in school getting in contact with thousands oof germs daily, only wash my hands after shitting and some time ago i was an alcoholic but i still stayed disease-free. i dont hink theres anything you can do to change your immune system, sorry immunelets

laughing at people you live with
thinking you actually matter lel

youre right here with us smart guy. we are all going down together
