black and orange greek pottery gets my dick hard

Why don't they make these anymore? they look amazing

They do. You can buy them

where?

Literally any pottery shop in Greece.

are they just novelty shit or is there some contemporary stuff?

*blocks your path*

Agreed.

fuck these crackers, so glad we're breeding them out

>contemporary
Why would you want a greek pot with donald drumpf's face or a super nintendo on it?

>implying you all aren't a bunch of faggots

What's wrong with the pot? Are you mad at African physiognomy

A professor of mine once told my class
"Ancient Greek geometric pottery is better than sex." And when he said this, he said it with EMPHASIS. It was not a casual statement, but an assertion! Possibly even a command.
Sadly my classmates were more prudish then this old ass white guy who grew up during the 60's. Why did Puritans have to travel through time, dye their hair, and ruin all the fun classes I had? I do not know. It saddens me.

ancient pissbottles.

Because I’m retarded

>mfw the gay propaganda is working but only against negroes

good thing he's wearing that grey hat to keep him warm

Because it's not ancient greece anymore and the artstyle can stand on its own without needing it to just be a homage to what it once was. Something can be contemporary without it being schlocky pop culture.

BLACK ON RED or
RED ON BLACK

black on red I guess

...

lmao

"Why won't those shvartzes stop being poopdicks?"

>not white ground

...

dude pot lmao xd

You made you stupid nigger subhuman?

Black on red has a more interesting style, but red on black allows one a wider range of verisimilitude. Aison is a master by any metric.

[spoiler] The real answer is Roman relief pottery

was the saucer nip style just one artist/school or was it pretty common?

...

...

...

I want it. why were the handles always so basic though? seems like they'd be easy to fancy up a bit

They were consumer grade pots. The cheapest ones were more common so more of them survive.

The fancier stuff like these janiform vases or animal shaped rhythms is rarer in the first place, and is more seldom preserved.

These pots weren’t high art

decorated handles seems to be relatively rare.

*animal shaped rhytons/rhyta, however you want it

...

don't talk to me before I've had my morning kantharos of coffee.

...

what is that thng

Could be Cetus. Doesn’t look like the scene though.

Probably just a whale

There's a piece of Greek pottery in my city's museum that has the thumbprint of it's artist on the inside of the neck, for some reason I find that really fascinating

I'll try find a picture later if this thread's still up

Probably just the potter, unless he also painted it, which isn’t impossible or even uncommon

...

Ewwwww geoss

I really really like chinese vases, am gonna get one someday, just not an antique like this

truth is truth

Is this a butt plug?

extra spooky cause it looks like merkel

...
