You can't maintain being super muscular and shredded for any real period of time without roids but being super muscular with a reasonable bf% is totally attainable natty. Just look at pre-test bodybuilders and add like 5% bf.

This, I was wondering myself. I'm chubby, 5'9 and 170 pounds. I want to reach the bearmode/fridge mode aesthetic but I'm cutting, not sure if I should wait until I go below my current 24%ish body fat.

I don't know how good my advice is, but if you're a beginner, I would cut and continue lifting weights. Cut to 10-15%. You will continue to make strength gains because you are a beginner. From there, do a clean bulk.
