Black beans - mashed sweet potato and cayenne sauce
Green/brown Lentils - canned tomato, sweet peppers, and onion
Red lentils - onion, carrot, and lots of black pepper
Kidney beans - onion, peppers, hot sauce
Adzuki beans - puree with dates, cocoa powder, vanilla extract, and a little water

Mang, soak that shit up. Protip from growing up around women who know their cooking, if you want fartless beans soak them in cold water for a few hours before using them. The more times you can do it, the better (I go for 3-5 depending on the beans).
Protip: the less bubbles on top of the soaking water, the less farty the beans will end up being

The only place I can find them around here is Whole Foods, so I pay $3 for a 1-pound bag of organic ones. I still keep a few bags around in the pantry but it's not a staple in my diet like it would be if I could find cheap non-organic red lentils in bulk.
