Chalk.
Straps
Towel.
Squat plug
iPad for taking pictures of women
water bottle for yawning between sets of OHP in the squat rack

Towel
Water bottle
Why do you need all that other shit?

microplates
2 belts
straps
chalk
knee sleeves
squat plug
lifting shoes
heart rate monitor
notebook

I consider all of the above essential to my training.

Wouldn't a normal phone be more discreet?

chalk
whey protein
peanut butter
lube
squat plug
poop scissors
extra underwear

I'm being cautious with my deadlifts. Just coming back to them and I've had a few life injuries in between.

1) SBD Knee Sleeves, best investment I have ever made.
2) Foam Roller and Lacrosse Ball, also essential for warming up with Limber 11
3)Wrist Wraps, essential for benching
4)Adipower Oly Shoes, essential for squatting
5) MyProtein Liquid Chalk, nice for 1RMs, but not essential at all
6) Rogue Straps, haven't used them yet, but not really needed anyways

I love every piece of my lifting gear, the only thing I'm missing is a belt, but my gym provides them luckily

For real mate?

yes, do I need to explain any of it?

I was browsing today and a higher end belt can be pretty expensive. My basic run of the mill costed me like 40 bucks.

Im actually genuinely interested to hear a full explanation

Gym falcon (his name's Robert)
poop EXTRACTOR (only plebs still use scissors)
smithing gloves
Iron ore
portable anvil
portable furnace

everything you need for the kinogym experience

towel
skateboard
almonds
wrist wraps/straps
belt
boiled eggs
squat plug
my own barbell

Never had a pair of actual weight lifting shoes. Is it really worth it?

He probably pulls more than lmao4plate. No point in using gear before that

>microplates
for progress on press/bench/etc where 2.5kg jumps are too big
>2 belts
a normal belt for squatting and a narrower one for pulling.
>straps
for doing various high rep assistance work where I don't want grip to be the limiting factor.
>chalk
self-explanatory
>knee sleeves
pretty much cured my knee pain when squatting. seriously, use knee sleeves. they don't help you lift more weight
>squat plug
self-explanatory
>lifting shoes
self-explanatory
>heart rate monitor
for doing HIIT
>notebook
self-explanatory

Who's trying to be discreet here?

Reasonable enough fitizen. I should probably get a journal going.

Kek. Fair enough.

absolutely. Well it really depends on how serious you are taking squatting.
I'm squatting High Bar 3times a week so I really need them, the stability they provide compared to other shoes is incredible.

I'm pretty serious. Getting close to 415 again. I'll have to give them a shot.

What are you squatting with currently? I couldnt even begin to imagine squatting 4pl8 without oly shoes haha

I've always used basic nike running shoes. Started powerlifting in highschool. I have always been curious about shoes though.

a gallon water bottle and a condom

Knee sleeves and wrist wraps (SBD), belt (Inzer), shoes (Adipowers), chalk, towel and a water jug.

I used to be the most geared-up guy in the gym, but now I see more and more people wearing squat shoes, and belts and wrist wraps were already much in evidence before that. So apart from my knee sleeves and using a towel to wipe my sweat off instead of a wad of paper towels, I don't stand much out no more.

>iPad for taking pictures of women
you know, i'm a footfag, and it pisses me off when people post "candid" shots. are you the nigger who posts that kind of shit?

Def gonna start bringing a towel. Good idea.

jesus, how do you squat over 315 in running shoes? thats actually quite dangerous.
try squatting barefoot and get lifting shoes asap

It's never bothered me too much. Some shoes definitely squish more than others though. But I totally will.
