If by upper back you mean teres major/minor and mid/low traps, then your best bet is pullups. Throw on weight when you're able to do 15 pullups with good form.

The mid section is more genetics because he doesn't have narrow hips and his arms are fine. The body dismorphia is really noticeable in you roidfags.
