Why does everyone on this board have such shit music tastes?
>muh heavy metal
>muh gangsta rap
It's like you need to overcompensate for something by listening to the most """manly"""music you can imagine.

When I'm mad i lift better sorry
Gr8 b8 m8 i r8 8/8
I listen to harsh noise when I lift. When you're trying for the last rep and suddenly you're getting screamed to get fucked and face the feast of powder, it really helps. Yellow Trash Bazooka is great for doing leg presses to.
please enlighten us with your superior taste user
I like orchestras when lifting. Part of the reason why I got my home gym, can't stand headphones
>implying
>Muh everything I enjoy
I have fairly specific dislikes, but there's some music in my playlists most people would find overly girly.
Most is Chill/deep house or classic/hard/indie rock. But plenty of vague psychedelic stuff as well as britpop and metal.
I mostly dislike niggers thinking they can sing, females are worse. But again, not all of it sucks...
Last 10 songs added?
>Lighthouse Family - High
>Calvin Harris - this is what you came for
>Black Label Society - in this river
>Florence + the machine - cosmic love
>jimi Hendrix - little wing
>Muse - hysteria
>Robin schulz - sun goes down
>oscar and the wolf - moonlight
>Lea rue - sleep
>get scared - sarcasm
I actually added 6 remixes of sleep, the entire HAARP album of Muse and 2 bits of standup comedy by a dutch comedian in between.
The only edgy shit here is sarcasm. And in this river, maybe, but that one's on the list for very nonedgy reasons.
...
I like dnb and moby; fight me!
Moby? You can get stomped by Obie
Disliking any genre of music makes you a pleb.
The true patrician I'd a Renaissance man and enjoys at least a bit of music from all genres.
patrician taste. too bad I got tired of dnb 4 years ago. still use this as my alarm
youtube.com
Uhh what? Gangster rap and heavy metal are fucking amazing. Nas, Biggie, Wu Tang, Metallica, Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath... The list goes on
>Implying nobody listens to techno
>It's like you need to overcompensate for something
Which is literally what you are doing by making this post.
who /findsmusicfromfantanoeventhoughheisacuck/ here?
Glitch Mob and Celldweller are my go-to lifting bands.
I find almost all my music through based Shit-thony Post-ano and NPR Tiny Desk Concerts.
If you don't love Margaret Glaspy you can fuck right off.
y. 36 y/o bald headed fag
Yeah I kinda agree, decent dnb songs now are kinda rare.
Andy C and RAM records are the one though:

I lift to Radiohead and Parquet Courts. People like what they like man. There is stuff that's gonna last and stuff that isn't. Let people enjoy themselves.
IF YOU DONT LISTEN TO EUROBEAT, IT'S TIME FOR YOU TO GET THE FUCK OUT
That's just what Veeky Forums pretends to listen to. Really it's all Carly Rae Jepson and Taylor Swift on their playlists.
I used to look for rock & metal good reviews to check out a couple months ago, haven't done that in a while since I pretty much lift to psytrance and those tracks still and haven't gotten bored yet.
>glitch mob
eggcelent
It's more lift "gotta finish fast so i can turn this shit music off".
I listen to anime soundtracks and eurobeat while working out.
Unrelated but why does he have such a punchable face?
Why the fuck does what you listen to while you lift matter?
He's a classic numale
I've PR'd on diddlies to Yung Lean before
These 3 tracks on loop is all I listen to when lifting
m.youtube.com
it's b/c i need loud shit to drown out the shitty music played at the commercial gym i go to. i wish they would turn the volume down but no, they crank it up like there's a spinning class in the whole gym
One of those rare moments on Veeky Forums where OP actually is a faggot
I hit a 350 pound deadlift PR to this yesterday. Felt good man.
youtu.be
I've seen many assert that "numales" (for lack of a better term) constantly make faces such as those seen in the OP as a sort of defense mechanism, to mask their insecurities.
Could it be argued that people (generally people that are heavily into gym culture, from what I've noticed) that emulate this face (pic related) are in a sense attempting to achieve the same thing as the "numales"?
Probably but most gym goers become more confident and self assured over time.
Numales just remain cuckolded virtue signalled pussies.
I listen to dnb a lot lately. Wasn't that big of a fan until one of my mates talked me into going to a festival and taking xtc.
It was fucking amazing and since then the music speaks to me a lot more.
make gainz

Not sure if my tastes will get more hate here than there...
>Zappa
>Reinhardt
>Zepp
You're fine ma nigga. Just guessing you're not in the 16-21 age group anymore.
Literally nothing I dislike on that list, though I prefer my stuff a bit spacier or rougher.
I'm 16 and just got in to music over the summer. Nah, lonely middle aged record collector more like it. Rec some spacy/rough shit pls.
The Underage B& - Reported
>mfw i listen to christian hymns while lifting
true non-degenerate patrician here
>David Bowie
>throat singing
>opera
I piss off the homeless near my business where I have my gym.
I cant even listen to music longer than a few minutes because no matter the genre it gives me a headache..music a shit
anyone that likes bowie, zappa, and the drones that much is a-ok in my books honestly buddy
my year of being a complete and utter /mu/-drone really shows doesn't it
>he doesn't enjoy lifting to the grimiest, grittiest, filthiest rap ever invented by man
it's like you don't even want to make it, pucciboi
>The Underage B& - Reported
What does "bampersand" mean?
>the drones
Nice. Are they ever gonna come to the US, or am I gonna have to go all the way to Oz to see them?
I like some /mu/core like BoC from time to time.
>YouTube video
>Some big fuck powerlifter
>Lifting heavy weights for the Internet
>Music on in the background
>Almost always shit like Disturbed or Breaking Benjamin
It's like they don't believe in taste
>Nice. Are they ever gonna come to the US, or am I gonna have to go all the way to Oz to see them?
I don't think it would pay off for them, I think they are literally only popular in au, especially because of all the references to australian things like taiman shud
I've seen them live twice and both times it was great, definitely worth it if you can see them
I know you're baiting, but men trying to appear as masculine as possible is a real thing on Veeky Forums
It's fucking annoying, faggots will be faggots
Not warming up with Hey Jude.
Everyone here I guess just doesnt want to make it.
We can make the world stop is my PR theme

>tfw I actually like working out to Swift
>This
I have my own personal band that plays for me wherever i go because I'm not a poorfag
>tfw I'm a recovering skelly goth kid
>tfw kept all my music tastes
>tfw I introduce strangers to industrial, aggro tech, and synth pop
I just listen to a 3 hour mix of women crying
>tfw listening to Kelly Clarkson during my workout again
>he doesn't listen to heavy metal
I remember sophmore year
I like Cat Stevens/John Denver/Tom Petty
When I workout I like to listen to Boston/Bad Company kinda stuff
I've found myself listening to pretty chill stuff even during working sets recently. For awhile now I've been feeling pretty great about myself, confident, and optimistic so I don't really need 'hardcore' music to get me in the groove.
Check it
Techno and eurodance. Industrial if I'm feeling edgy.
Alternative rock, garage rock, punk rock, pop punk, surf rock, noise rock & lo-fi.
youtube.com
I listen to that for repeat 5x when I lift.
>tripfag

It's mostly Tay Tay, some Zyzz trance playlists and nigger rap songs. I think it's a good mix, old tay tay songs for cardio and if I feel sad to remind me of
>her
and zyzz/negro rap for a generic gym day
who else listens to eurobeat unironically here?
>he doesn't listen to first wave speed/black metal when lifting

Do you even rock 'n roll?

Usually my go to.
In the gym I just listen to whatever they are blasting. Comercial/Metal/etc.
The angrier it sounds the better. That's why the edgier the better (and I don't mean edgy like oooh that guy's edgy, I mean musically). Djent is pretty good for this.
