I was front squatting without pain for a long time but last time I tried I did feel pain so now I'm just doing whatever.

i was doing 3x5 and started stalling pretty hard. i figured if i kept volume the same then it shouldn't matter much and switched to 5x3. since switching i have been able to progress again but i'm curious if i'm "cheating" myself a bit.

i'm also doing something similar with my deadlifts. instead of doing a 2x5 i end up doing essentially 10 singles.

is the lack of intensity a big deal if it's allowing me to put up more weight? i'm a weakfag and i'll probably stay a weakfag forever but to revert back to being an even weakerfag might break my fragile ego.

275x5 to 295x5. Recovery was absolutely god awful, and I wasn't going to cut on TM, so I switched programs when I started to cut. Ran it for 6ish weeks, for my squat only. Assuming you eat, sleep, and aren't a genetic dead end, you should be fine for a while, although you'll probably have to cycle rep and set schemes eventually.

So the "standard" for the combine and fitness is being able to bench 225lb.

What is the equivalent of that for dead-lift squats and OHP. Is it person to person, is there a standard?

Basically I want to get strong and obviously much bigger, but not to the extreme "snap my back in half if a light breeze pushes me off center" and would like to maintain some serious athleticism.

6'2 and 160lb with the goal of weighing 200ish in the next 3-4 years(depending on how my genetics dictate my size)

for the average 80kg person, I think a 185kg squat and a 200kg deadlift is above average.

if you're at 210kg squat+ and 250kg deadlift+, you're really good.

competition level is 240kg+ squat and 290kg+ deadlift

i'm saying if you're trying to get stronger, only focus on a strategic training pattern for the exercise you're trying to improve with the goal of doing each set and rep better than the last one.
don't tire yourself out and lose focus by adding in 3 sets of 12 bicep curls and lat pulldowns with the goal of looking bigger. the opposite thing for trying to get bigger. you wont get adequate results by trying to do both at the same time

I got this. They really improved quality on them. I was worried because some of the reviews but they fixed all the problems people were having like misaligned holes and holes not being deburred etc.

I'll keep that in mind on Tuesday. Thank you friend. The problem with the lower hooks is that I'm decently bent over because they have stupidly big jumps. I'll give it a go either way.
