this is partially correct. food is not direct energy. digestion take energy out of you. also everything you eat creates a certain level of inflammation in body, so the white blood cells attack to the outsider that enters the body and breaks it down. inflammation causes tiredness an shutting down of unuseful mechanisms of the body. that why religion people past and meditate, easier to focus on chakras, feels more spiritual and energized. but, this being energized is not physical strength. it is, ease of movement, free of inflammation, so in a way healtier than gulpin down certain amount of food and etc. keep in mind that in this state, you are eatin away from bodies stored energy, which are muscles, fat, and unhealthy body cells. since its fit/ here, its deinelty not optimal for someone that is up for hypertrophy or strength gains.
