I mean, it's perfectly normal by the age of 50 to have shitty knees and everything.
But by powerlifting you'll have these potentially faster and worse.

The only way out is once again by genetics. If you have great joints you will maintain them, even if you do hardcore sports.
But powerlifting with non optimal or even bad genetics ... you're in for a bad ride.
