Kind of happens to almost everyone unless you're a perma bulker. I mean, you can't be an amazing bencher and an amazing ohp'er. One has to take a back seat, maybe stop benching all together. What numbers are you stalling on exactly?

Lots of the same muscles. Going ham on one will hurt performance in the other for the near term.

OP. Try deloading and working back up with more volume. I stalled at 130lbs and deloaded and started doing 10x10. Got me up to 135lbs for reps after a month and a half.

You have four variables you can manipulate to get past this road block user: rest time, weight, reps, and sets

Was doing 40kg 5x5 OHP, fucked my lower back up in the last rep.

TFW 1 month goes by and low back still fucked.

You should alternate between doing them first and second.
Whichever you do second you should lower the weight and do more reps.

I stopped benching when i got a home gym but no bench and just ohp andbpush press. My press got weaker. Bought a bench and now i am close grip benching twice a week and my press has gone back up. The extra tricep, front delt and chest work really seems to help my ohp. Probs cos of much greater load used means more overload
