Kissenger read half the definition of realism, and then based his entire career on that.

>Nations are sociopathic dicks who do whatever they want and pursue their own self-interest

Then he didn't read the rest:

>...therefore, we should aim to create a balance of power to achieve peace and stability.

Realism isn't some kind of rubber stamp to nations just doing whatever they want to. It's acknowledging this reality, then trying to create systems that promote peace. Realists are typically quite cautious, and often afraid that their actions might change the balance of power in a region.

Kissenger promoted the reckless idea that America can do whatever they want, with no consequences since they're top dog. It took root after the fall of the USSR, and manifested in the Neo-Con movement.

balance of power is fucking retarded

t. smarter man than you

Well they CAN do whatever they want without consequence because at the end of the day, they have the best geographic position in the world seperating them from their messes and giving them the ability to subjugate the world with their fiat usury based toilet paper satanic internation Talmudic debt system

how about we stop being pseud brainlets and extrapolate from nationalism to examine all collectivism as a whole

>subjugate the world with their fiat usury based toilet paper satanic international Talmudic debt system

This, basically.
>mfw learning about "floating currency"
>"...but dad, if it's not based on anything then why do people use it?"
>"because we fucking say so, that's why"

Gold has little inherent value. Basing a currency on it is stupid.

I hope Kissinger can find his remaining years restful and constructive; as he prepares his affairs for the journey to that shore from where no travels returns.

It's all so many shiny objects to magpies, user. At the end of the day it's all whatever a people believes has value.

Inherent value doesn’t matter. The stability of it’s worth and the fact you can base alot of currency off of it (a little of it is worth alot) does.

>muh shiny objects

go read a book on the uses of silver however, wouldnt have the technological age without it
fiat BTFO

>he doesn't understand speaking figuratively

>implying even a small fraction of precious metals are used for industrial purposes

>Kissenger promoted the reckless idea that America can do whatever they want, with no consequences since they're top dog.
Show me anywhere in world history where the "top dog" didn't just do whatever it wanted. Just because you don't like a thing doesn't make it a reality.

The US being the main world power goes back to Truman. Even without him the US would have controlled the globe post-WWII.

kissinger is based, fuck everyone else

murrica #1

It's not America being #1, it's HOW they use that power. Kissenger and later Neo-Cons thought that America is so strong, so they can just bust in, pew pew pew, and fix all the problems. They got drunk on American military power, and thought it could fix everything.

Neo-Cons are retarded but they arn't wrong that those with the power call the shots. They just call retarded shots, that benefit no one but Isreal.

1. ur a nigger
2. we live in a satelite state
3. silver makes satelites n sheeeeit

you must be a yuropoor

And this is exactly why Realist balance of power is needed. America is an absurdly powerful nation, and there needs to be a balance of power so they don't do retarded shit. They're dangerous and must be contained.

>wanting to have other nations contest for power against USA
that's even more dangerous you dumb fucking liberal

like litearlly do you have any idea how much unrecoverable silvers in a single tomahawk missile? its fucking ludicrous the true value of silver

fucking cunt shill ill murder your family

>there needs to be a balance of power so they don't do retarded shit.
Well in your magic head-cannon world that might be possible but thats not the world we live in the USA will do whatever the fuck it wants and the only way to benefit anyone is to make sure it uses its power in a productive fashion.

>Kissenger promoted the reckless idea that America can do whatever they want, with no consequences since they're top dog. It took root after the fall of the USSR, and manifested in the Neo-Con movement.

You accuse Kissinger of having only read half the definition of realism yet you yourself have never read Kissinger. Kissinger autistically believed in balance of power politics. He based every single policy recommendation on it. The whole point was that a balance of power must be maintained to that the top dog can't do whatever the fuck they want.

Neo-conservatives were just butthurt socialists from the 60's who wanted a Trotskyist world revolution but based on liberal democracy instead of communism. To tie the two is a perversion of the ideas of Kissinger and realism.
