Paleolithic Europe, the Lower or Old Stone Age

What about vidya?

>accurate

more like Stoned Age amirite

what's inaccurate about it?

If it's between 40,000 and 10,000 years ago, but the people are speaking in grunts, have homo heidlbergensis faces and are portrayed as people living only in caves, and round the clock cold wastelands, I don't want to watch it or read it.

I can't believe how misrepresented upper paleolithic people are. They were modern humans that looked just like any other people you see outside aside from clothes and style, we find their tools in caves because caves preserve artifacts and bones.

Though it was during the Ice Age, people still largely lived in Italy, southern France and Spain, which would have been around what New England, Minnesota and Canada are today in terms of climate. It would get cold and snowy in the winter, but there would still be spring, summer and september with sunny warm days, greenery and pretty landscapes.

They would have lived like hunter gatherer native American tribes, not primitive cave dwelling beast people with flat heads and giant brow ridges who grunted.

Triggers me more than most things.

Op you might like this webste,

Lots of cool shit on upper paleolithic cultures. anthropark.wz.cz/magdal.htm

Jean Auel's Earths Children series.

Dumping images of upper paleolithic European artifacts and depictions, starting with Magdalenian (17,000- 12,000 BP), then Solutrean (23,000 - 18,000 BP), then Aurignacian (40,000- 30,000 BP)

They had some pretty sweet weapons

They made art on nearly all their weapons

Sometimes they just made little sculptures

I don’t fucking believe this bullshit

This necklace is made out of bear and lion remains with shells.

Dude they spent all of their days hunting and making weapons, they got pretty good at making shit. Every spear thrower found from the Magdalenian era has art on it.

Another one.

...

Earliest sewing kit found with Solutrean artifacts

Not sure what the top row is but the bottom row is spear and maybe arrowheads

...

No this is not the Lascaux cave art you're used to seeing, this is Solutrean art. Looks like they advanced in their painting since those earlier ones.

Solutrean art clearly depicting use of bows and arrows between 24,000 and 18,000 years ago.

You're probably mememing but the first two are really comfy. Not accurate at all, but comfy nontheless.

Pretty sure this one is Aurignacian, but I think it's really cool that there were rhinos in Europe

>accurate movies
>jewliwood
They had homosexuals and porn back in the stone ages too goy

My favorite was that Ubisoft game set in the Paleolithic where there's literal niggers speaking proto-Indo-European fighting against Neanderthals, in Europe.

also cro-magnon brains were larger than ours today, it shrank when we discovered farming and memes

The Izila were white though. Only the Wenja were dark skinned.

Hate to tell you man, but they did have porn during the ice age, do you know how many little figurines they've found with big titties, asses and pussies? The dudes literally wore them on necklaces lol
