Why do people STILL act like Communism and Fascism are at the forefront of political and economic theory when they're clearly two outdated ideologies that were proven failures? At least come up with something new to get fanatical about, ya fuckin goofballs

because most people are complete fucking idiot, and most of these idiots love LARPing as various horrid regimes for edge points

>recession from 10 years still stings the economy a bit
>"DUDE THATS IT CAPITALISM HAS FAILED ITS ALL OVER BETTER PICK BETWEEN ONE OF TWO ARBITRARY FAILED TOTALITARIAN SYSTEMS INSTEAD!"

Because in a political spectrum, it is the political extremes that define ideologies, but most people have a mix of both, in varying volumes.

Because of two things.

1.your on the internet where fringe opinions have more of a voice.

2.these people are Sociopaths who want power for themselves. You don’t see any Marxists clamoring to be working in the fields all day. No, most of them think they’re going to be party beaurcrats with nice kickbacks.

Because people are tired of neoliberal bullshit. If it wasnt for whites being soyboys and neets there would be huge turmoil in europe at the moment.

I mean for gods sake, if you removed immigrants and old people from the equation, germanys far right and far left parties would probably have like half the votes.

It is a bit odd how we never seem to see new ideologies taken seriously these days.

man peak under the social blanket of this society and all it is is communism and fascism, it works with a lot of people, where chaos is high, and you can group vast swaths of people into corporate, social, political, national identities. our money system for example, banking and currency, centralisation. too lazy rn to tell more then this

>tfw even our social issues are just shitty reboots

Fascism and, to a lesser extent, other authoritative and 'extreme' ideologies have been objects of fetishistic fascination in Western liberal democracies since the Second World War. Communism is a 19th century reaction to capitalism that still holds an abstract/principled appeal even despite the degradation of its reputation during the 20th century. National Socialism and more broadly fascism was probably the ur-type of how modern people think about Communism as an alternative to the current system now; as something sinister, vital, young and effective. Fascism in Europe took hold in developed, democratic (more or less) countries where Communism had failed and been relegated to barely thriving only in agrarian shitholes - and what's more it really did appear to fix those countries. For the first few years of National Socialist rule, quality of life really did increase substantially. It was really impressive, and during a time of political and economic decay it became really fucking attractive. The aesthetic genius of the movements probably had a strong effect too. It seemed like the inevitable wave of the future - even moreso when it began winning an impossible war.

Of course, saying "good things" about fascist regimes shouldn't be mistaken for sympathy or endorsement. I think Germany flourished in a lot of ways but also experienced a steep cultural stagnation as a result of Nazi rule. Even during the hard times of Germany's defeat in World War I and the transition from empire to the Weimar democracy Germany never faltered in contributing to literature and art and philosophy. But it almost came to a complete halt during the Third Reich and never fully recovered. And also obviously recognition of fascism's strengths shouldn't be mistaken for endorsement when our primary objection to it is moral and ethical - the scale of the war, economic, cultural and human devastation isn't really vindicated by a few years of economic prosperity.

>It's a "moron who never read abook about economics or bothered to study the history of the nations he's talking about with proficiency is convinced that he knows why nations fail"
I don't like either Leninism or Fascism but this is your brain when the state convinces you that you have the rights to vote. Oh yes user! You're so smart you totally have the choice to vote who you want! You can shape the world with your vote!

>I mean for gods sake, if you removed immigrants and old people from the equation, germanys far right and far left parties would probably have like half the votes.
Awful bait

Without fascism your dad cant horde wealth, gift it to you, and then you go on TV and brag about all your skills in making money.

>Marxism
>Party bureaucrats
Pick one

oh my sweet little sweetie

Lel, Stalin won over Trotsky in the post Lenin power struggle because he was a party beaucrat. I’d have to search for it, but he practically knew all the upper echelons of the party because he was like the attendance taker at high level meetings among other things.

>Why are a site full of detached LARPers acting like LARPers
no idea

Wtf are you talking about?

Not sure if all of them are aware that they are LARPing, like the dumber ones seem to be pre irony free about their shit.

> You don’t see any Marxists clamoring to be working in the fields all day

Point me to a "muh capitalism" folks actually being proud of being wagecuck drones.

>You don’t see any Marxists clamoring to be working in the fields all day.
Maybe because their envisioned utopia doesn't have that?

Oh look, a clueless liberal. So cute-y

Isnt it the same with religions?
New ideas only as derivates of old ones.
We had a short burst of creativity in the 20s, now we run with the results makig endless derivates until there comes a point when the worlds powerframe is shattered as in 1920.
