And in order to maintain muscle you don't need a whole lot of testosterone. He mostly got learner and maintained the same if not less muscle over the years. There's a reason it's commonly said that you only need about half the doses of gear to maintain as you did to gain up to it.

Don't know how it is in the US, but where I live TRT doesn't even do that - it gets you to above the lowest level, which is considered a medical problem, but still keeps you well below the average level. I.e. you just get enough for it to not be a handicap. Of course, you can lie or cheat your way into getting T injections to boost your levels way high, but as soon as your T-levels get to even average it is no longer TRT but just plain ol' juicing.
