I squatted 3 and was making progress to 4 when I decided to change up my form (deeper squat, pause squat) and was challenged as hell.

Ultimately, getting to 4 is nothing more than bragging rights. If you are shredded, whatever man. Versatility and different looks are probably healthier in the end.
