If you mean current africans, then Americas would be much less developed. Slavery for arab and europeans power would be extremely difficult to obtain and they would need to rely on indigent servants or serfs for much longer.
Since Africa would be desolate, European colonialism in Africa would stay forever unless africas european settlers would start revolutions.

Modern world would be somewhat cleaner less populated.
