any knee issues?

I'm having trouble getting past a 3pl8 squat because my knees start to hurt in this really weird way. Not sure if it's normal or nah, any advice?

I'll tell you right now that like 90% (or some other high percentage number) of any knee pain is related to hip and knee flexibility/mobility. I suggest you work on stretching your hips and ankles. And with greater mobility there will come no knee pain. Also stretches that will help keep your pelvis in a neutral position will help immensely.

And for Oly lifts I've only very recently started getting into them. But I'm getting really good at them. My good friend used to do it at a very high level in China and he is teaching me. It's very technique based. But I love it. I think it's important to set goals in the gym and meet them and continually change it up to stay motivated. I have a lot if friends that just do bro splits and they are like yawning half the time in the gym. Anyway to each their own.

Man I'm on mobile atm. But I suggest you google something like athlean x stretching and do what he suggest for ankle mobility and hip stretches. Start with that. I guarantee your knee pain will go away.

Doing heavy explosive behind the head skullcrushers and a lot of shoulder press (basically just the bottom to mid part of ohp with heavy weight) brought my Ohp from -12% on symmetrics strength to 0 within a few months.

I don't take any pills. I'm naturally lean and I eat at maintenance. But I'm very strict to my macros. Also I only do sauna once every 2 weeks. I do cardio after every gym sesh tho.
