What's your BMI Veeky Forums? Fatties often use the excuse that BMI isn't a good representation of health, which I agree on, although for them it definitely is. But many athletes also have a shitty BMI due to muscle mass. What's yours?

Yes
I still have some fat, but can already see the upper abs, so I guess that counts

Whats it like being 89kg tall?

BMI under-predicts obesity in short people and women, and over-predicts it in tall people and men. The formula wasn't made with the square cube law in mind.

That said, most people complaining about BMI are just straight up fat regardless. You never see jacked dudes with shitty BMI ratings whining about it.

And only two years ago I was still considered underweight

17.1 bmi

People with even a single years worth of exercise knowledge thinks BMI is trash.

I need to lose another 20-26lbs of fat to be considered normal.
Started at 210lbs, planning to get to 136lbs by February.
That said the BMI system is indeed shit because it doesn't take into account muscle mass and depending on what you measure it by even frame size, not like I lift though so it's pretty accurate for individuals like myself.

BMI doesn't really say anything about a person's fitness level, according to it I'm overweight yet I'm barely hovering over 15% bf, abs are still visible
Someone like Bradley Martyn is well into the obese range at 190cm 120 kg

I'd have to lose muscle to get in normal range. Bmi chart is fine for nonlifting population, tho.
