This is kinda true, but if you go too fast, you might have trouble with constipation.
I kept eating and eating when I started bulking, and at some point, I could just no longer keep up with pooping it all out, and eventually, it just got stuck or something and I hadn't been pooping for 4 days, even though I'd eaten a shit ton.

Had to get some laxatives, and JEEBUS it hurt coming out..
Also it smelled so horrid I puked on the bathroom floor aswell.

One word, milkshakes.

Easier to drink the calories.

You don't see your abs because you don't have abs, start eating at mainenance for a month while lifting, then up your calorie intake a little bit more.

Yeah this. I used to use full fat milk, oats, peanut butter, whey protein and a banana and blend it all up, can't say it tasted amazing but defo did the job, around 500 cals in one drink I guess.

That would be 6.5kg of fat and 1.5kg of muscle. How tall are you? As a former 58kg skelly I recommend you bulk slower. I know it's tempting, but you're gonna get stuck in the miserable "too high bodyfat to keep bulking, too weak to cut" loop sooner than later.
Unless you're gonna slow down and stabilize around 65kg though.

I'm in the same boat mate. Basically in my final year of uni I didn't work out at all and when I wasn't in the library I was in the pub. Put on around 14lbs I guess. I started going back to the gym in the summer, I've lost all that weight and more, it's been so motivating to see it go down but every time I reach my goal I want to lose more.

I've never had this problem before, literally don't want to put on muscle because seeing those scales go up makes it seem as if I'm undoing all that hard work, even though that's obviously not true at all. And I have no way of telling how unhealthy (skinny) I look since every time I look in the mirror I still see the same fat bastard I saw 3 months ago haha.

I know I'm being ridiculous.

You're not. It's a hallmark of an eating disorder. It happens to me to. I always see a fatty in the mirror, yet all people around me say to me that I'm skinny. I talked to a friend who had legit eating disorder for years (bulimia) and she confirmed me this symptom.
