NEET

Semi badly since the bouts of depression leave me to not eating for days

Student, part time at family business

shits fine until "hey have a test everyday" week. Then scheduling gets messy.

how did you become a NEET?

Neets arent made theyre born

every time i see this bitch posted i hide these threads. you're trying real hard to meme here.

Work at an art supply store.

Fucked them up HORRIBLY

>All coworkers are cool and like to hang out at galleries and go drinking
>Work down the street from a bar that makes delicious bar food
>New job took me far away from my gym at the time

Still I love the job and wouldn't trade it for anything.

>1
graduate school in computer science/bioinformatics

I literally do not eat, lift, or sleep anymore. My diet mainly consists of adderall

>workaholic
>network security engineer
>60k

recently had an interview at another company, they had a concern though, a funny question was what do i do for stress relief? i pretty much amn a wage slave right now, im a dedicated engineer and many other companies dont do stuff like this, i have been running multiple projects since my promotion in june and it has caused me to be over stressed a lot, im currently on vacation back home at my parents place, also waiting on the news from that interview, should be hearing back next week

a couple of things, i am over qualifed for this offer, but it will pay 80k, and I'm comfortable with that even if it means more pay but less work, this company doesn't have nearly as much work i currently do, but less work and a pay raise sounds fucking awesome right now

dont mean to polute this thread, but i have as

Grandparent died and left me money and a house

Thinking about leaving my job as a server. Been at this restaurant for 5 years and it's really killing me. I'm still in college, but fucking hell its kicking my ass. I hate my accounting major and I just want to quit. Everone from my job is also leaving, so I feel like I should too. I thought about going for a administrative assistant at a hospital. I'll get paid $19 an hour and I won't have to run around and kiss ass to get any tips.

I feel like the Admin job is boring, but I'll get paid more, have more hours/benefits, so I guess thats better, right?

Full time lead custodian at a high school. I'm on my feet walking, lifting, and pushing things for 8 hours every day. It does great actually.

Cashier at sportsman's warehouse.

It fucks it up sometimes because they schedule me for times that make it hard to get enough sleep and be able to work in my lifting sessions. Not always but every now and then the schedule has its way with my butthole.

Build shops for farmers

I'm away from my homegym for weeks whenever I go to work so pretty badly. So when I'm at home I rarely take rest days anymore

Enlisted

I actually work out more when underway/deployed because the gym is like a 3 minute walk away. It's also the only thing I have to distract myself from my miserable life and job. When on shore I have internet, junk food, etc...

It's honestly a stupid cycle of me leaving to sea slightly chub, and coming back slightly shredded. I just wish I could stick to one.

I work in a call centre. The worst thing about it is that I'm sitting down all day.

English teacher.

Not in the slightest. It aids my gains if anything.

Also, more camwhores need to do ahegao

what kind of call center?

Factory work. I don't get to sit except for 25 minutes worth of breaks all day so I guess that helps.

Not all that much for heavy lifting though.

It's not bad.

neetbux
not at all, just go to school
:~)

Gold miner
88k
Pretty bad at times depending on what i am doing for the 2 weeks at work.

Working 12 hours a day if i get one job ill be up and down stairs for the whole shift carrying things and various other physical tasks. Helps for a cut dont have to worry about cardio either. But it drains me through the day so energy aint 100% in the gym and leg day makes it hard the next day at work. That and I only average about 6hrs sleep a night when working.

We got chefs out here tho so I can eat as much as a want which helps as im 6'3 and with the added all day cardio have to eat alot.

But im still seeing gains so no complaints here, life at work is just work and train for 14 days straight then take 3 days off training due to traveling back home for my break and relaxing or take the week off training and go travel and party then fly back to work and repeat.

Pretty good life for a single bloke

computer science major are usually dyel and stay dyel. Few and I mean few make it.

I'm a paramedic in a trauma hospital. Work night shift.

>3 night shifts a week
>miserable pay, but I refuse to work overtime.
>the hospital is old and shitty. They turn the heat on...in a hospital. Constantly getting sick.
>have child.

I am lucky to workout three times a week. Usually 2.

electrician-
~50k/yr

sometimes I am working close to home with a good schedule and can go in right after work and its not too busy. Other times I am putting in OT and shit just slides that eek or month or whatever. I have a basic rule, if its after 4pm dont waste my time. Otherwise the work can be physical at times like handling larger wire and digging or just some of the material. Its pretty good for HIIT all day and ladders and stairs ect are good for my legs. I can tell when I have been working overhead lot and my OHP fails really early on in my sets.

10 year neet

get 10k a year

doesnt fuck me up at all

Forgot to mention

20k/year

this is me at the start of the quarter

>Have child
>20k/year

Why do people do this to themselves? If you cant afford a kid dont fucking have one. Awesome that youll raise that kid in poverty.

>Muh hardships build character

Fuck you

Welcome to the few.

Need more quad action tbqhwyf.

been having knee pain for a bit so I haven't progressed in legs in a while. then again I probably lost most of everything considering I haven't lifted since
>October
>not meeting macros
>not sleeping

I'm not an idiot with my money, and I go without before he does. He wasn't planned, but it was manageable, when his mom was still around.

It's harder, now, but I'm almost done with school. Soon to make 60-70k/year

I played ball with the Orioles but was cut after my contract of 3 years, and swapped careers after 2 years of free agency.

I'm now an assistant baseball coach for a division 2 Uni lol

>75k/year

I can kind of keep my gains

>clinical food service office drone
>40 hours/wk, 0700 - 1500 shift

Often I'll get home, take a nap, then go lift. I'm studying to get into the IT field (hopefully the security side of things), that's the real gains killer. I'm working at my own pace, but I'm a slave driver.

i stopped lifting at the end of august because i moved. starved myself too. just started lifting again last week and holy shit i feel week. my lifts havent dropped THAT much but i feel awful and weigh 20 lbs less. not even lean baka.

costco employee
pretty much doo diddlys and push/pull carts all day, so other than the cardio involved its pretty dank. was bulking super heavy before i got this job but since i can't really constantly eat im losing weight which blows.

Night shift at a Pharmacy

I can only sleep every other night and usually go to the gym on the nights I can sleep. I have all morning and afternoon free so it's good, I'm thinking about getting a second job on that time, but I don't know what.

that gives me some hope then for whenever I start back up again. and yeah, I think I've lost like 10 lbs already, and I look fatter lol

Student/Tutor

I'm either TAing for a teacher or teaching somebody myself, from Monday to Saturday. My day starts at 6am and I get home at 6:30pm, still have to do homework, no time for gym anymore.

This shit sucks

Always time for gainz if you want it bad enough. Sleep less, switch up your routine do a full body one. I used to make gains doing only half hour in the gym just push yourself

do it
having any admin shit on your resume is miles better than waiting tables
also being an account is cash. Good job

That's the thing man, if I don't get sleep, I can barely function during the day, even with caffeine. I'm not making some bullshit excuse either; I tried going to the gym after work, but I was so tired the day after I missed my first lecture of the day.

I understand what you mean though. Whatever it takes.

Im GM at one of the largest gyms in my state.
Id say it has a very positive effect on my gains.

Line Cook

Stay in shape perty easy

Get up earlier and go take pre workout before hand, gym will wake you up for the day. You sound like one of them fattys making excuses b-but muh thyroid

Do your best, user. I believe in you.

Education

I barely make gains with all the crap i'm doing/eating right now.

criminal defense lawyer

hanging out with criminals in the jail makes me want to lift

"Web Operations Specialist"

Basically a client comes to us and I build their site based on what they ask for

52k a year, I have plenty of time to workout. Lots of cute recent college grads at work to keep my test going

M E L B O U R N E ?

Security guard. Sometimes after a 12-15 hour shift(which is all I work) I just pass out. No 24 hour gyms near me.

In the process of quitting my full time job of 5 years, going to become NEET and live off my decent savings and eventually get a part time/casual job to my liking.

Hello gains, goodbye goblins.

>Mechanic
Starting to fuck up my back and knees now.

Sometimes work till midnight several days in a row with only shit food to eat because boss is a fat fuck and won't buy food from more than one place when working overtime.

The unholy trifecta of missed gym sessions, bad food and no sleep.

NEET isn't for a living. You're literally killing yourself slowly with nothing to show for it.

Everything in life is about time and you're pissing yours away.

Stop it man. Love yourself enough to get out there and be something of worth

Should work for yourself bro. I know a mechanic that got made redundant, so he just started working for himself. He would restore old cars (did a fucking nice job on a Datsun 240K), and build rice mobiles for kids with too much money. He did all the work on this guys 600+hp S14. Also did a convertible RX-7 since going it alone.

Climb cell phone towers. Climbing a couple hundred feet per day with 50lbs of tools/harness keeps me from being a fat ass

I'm not good enough yet, and don't want the economic responsibility for the occasional fuck ups that will always happen.

Plus fucking Denmark, so car prices are just atrocious.

Plus everything is regulated to hell and back.

I envy car enthusiasts in other countries.

Software developer
Doesn't really fuck with my gains at all, I have the money and time to do whatever I want

Finished school two weeks ago, I pack shelves at night three times a week.

Anyone here work in HR?
Is it something to go into? I'm a failed accounting major and I need something else to go into. I want to stay in the business field, so I'm thing HR would be good.

just started uni studying for it right now,
any tips/recommendations for me?

What kind of paramedic works IN a hospital? Also I'm an EMT-B and I make ~35k a year, how the fuck do you make so little?

female body inspector

A private contractor for a government agency. It's all inbound calls.

I march a lot as an officer in the academy so its pretty good for leg gains i suppose

Just started a job working for my buddies delivery company. Not been too bad, although I'm not eating as much as I'd like and working out when I get home tired sucks I've managed to keep up my routine. So far so good. Lifts have gone back a little but I'm doing a mini cut at the moment cause I've got a birthday coming up and it's party season. Soon as Christmas is here it's bulkan time. The job on the other hand has helped with the cut and just general fitness levels. Running up and down stairs carrying parcels is good at increasing my daily movement.

UK?

>dont have a job
>full time student
>study while gaining
Life is truly beautiful

I live in Florida, the lowest paying state in America.

The most I have ever made is 24k/year.

Do you work for the city/fire department? Private ambulance/hospital work pays significantly less.

Part of me wishes I went to nursing school, but after 6 years I just don't care. I need to do something different

9 - 5 sysadmin office drone for an accounting company
Steady gains, but sitting all day memeing dank maymays messes with my head.
Occasionally moonlight in construction and roofing on the weekends.

So true
>Schizo Neet with a diagnosis check reporting in.

Medical student. The gains are pretty safe, but the strength has gone a bit now that I can't train as consistently.

What are you degrees/certs and experience? Is your pay normal for the industry? Is all the talk about IT security guys being in demand propaganda?
Network security is a possible career path for me right now, would like to know more about it.

Production Chemist I

I get paid about 40k a year, which is apparently typical for a fresh graduate. My company has a small gym that anyone is allowed to use whenever (gonna be over there soon for a workout), but the job itself is pretty dangerous and draining. Just the other day, I was doused in boiling contaminated water and developed second degree burns all over my body.

Trolley pusher

Gives sick forearm and calves gains but gobbles the rest of my gains

Starting grad school next year so I'll be able to stop doing this utterly shit job.

good news is bitches love a single dad. too bad it's a boy.

im a coordinator for EU funded projects, every fucking 4-7 weeks is a deload week because i have to spend it in some little gymless town on some conference i just "have to attend".

Unemployed for 1 month now
About to jump on welfare
Make less than 20k per year
I stopped training a year ago and gained 40lbs

Special Agent in Executive Protection, long ass days leave me with like 5 hours of sleep after the gym.

>public accountant
>work 60+ half the year 80+ for two months

yeah i just binge drink in my free time

Do you regret majoring in accounting?
I know CPA make a lot of money, but accounting seems like a soul sucking job

I'm a european doing a bachelor in business and economics, any recommendations on what master program to apply for in US? I'd like to work less than 70h a week

Doctor

50% nightshift + long hours fucks me up, but i couldn't go do a desk job now. I'm addicted to the thrills.

This thread is weirdly inspiring though. i thought i was special having a job that got in the way of gains. Turns out lots of people blame their job and I'm probably just being a bitch.

People who make gains will do it. People who don't will always have an excuse.

It really comes down to how badly you want it. My hours worked are nowhere near so impressively soul-destroying as some of you faggots, but I was working 60+ hours a week, sometimes up to 80, and still finding time to hit the gym in the wee hours of the morning (and finish my sessions after work where necessary).

I'm a cop

If I bring my own food then its okay. Aside from that, restraunts usually drop off sweets and rarely anything healthy

I'm a cop too, UK though. The station I work at has a basic but decent gym, but I never get enough time to eat regularly.

>Whats do you do for a living?
Firefighter/Paramedic
>How badly does your job fuck up your gains?
Depends. Most of the time I work 24 hour shifts, so I lift on my two days off. Sometimes I work 48 hour shifts and it messes with my lifting schedule. Other than that, firefighters have terrible diet habits and they're all fat so it sucks when you're on a cut

Nightfill

Sometimes my shoulders hurt from the movements I do at work and it transfers over into the gym

How does one find them self in that field of work? That sounds like a bad ass occupation

Working in the mines in Western Australia is over rated, the industry won't last much longer at the rate they're raping the resources out of the ground. If you're young and single, willing to shut the fuck up and work for 12 hour days for 2 weeks on sight after flying out it's a good way to make money. I'm not that user but I live in Western Australia, my mate is a driller in the mines and rakes in like 3k a week working 2 weeks on 1 week off.

Nah i do not regret it, you work crazy hours in public but once you go private it is easier. And i do enjoy working in teams / people i work with / working on different things constantly. Also, the people you work with are all on a different level in terms of their knowledge.

The real killer is studying for the CPA / CFA while working.... that part sucks. Just get an internship asap and aim for a big 4 firm

I'd get your masters in europe man, the cost of a masters in the states is absurd. But it does not really matter all that much, you just need to have some decent internship experience (large publicly traded companies) to back up your degree.

And you dont have to work crazy hours, you just (generally) will settle for significantly less pay

I respond to written complaints for a utility company. Doesn't interfere at with my gains. Co-workers are as stupid as half the people who complain.

not him but someone in the industry. 40-60k is normal for entry level in this field depending on your location but it usually pays far above average for the area. Certs/degrees just get you past HR and nothing more. People from all walks of life work at various stages in the field. From what I've seen its not propaganda as there are more jobs than qualified and knowledgeable people to fill the roles.

If you have interest/opportunity you should look more into it user.

I'm in the u.s. currently at a uni and I fucking hate it. I've got a few thousand in savings, would I survive moving there, getting a place and job?

>unemployed
>it doesn't :)

starting a public accounting (audit) internship in january, with one of the big 4. 1 hour commute each way + 60 hour weeks. definitely going to fuck up my gains.

No you'll probably just quit when the going gets tough again like everything else

No dude, don't EVER sacrifice sleep.
Sleep is when your body regenerates, it's extremely important for mental health, daily energy and proper functioning of ALL organs in the body. Your muscle also regenerates heavily during sleep. Don't make this mistake.
You should sleep around 8 hours. Sleeping too little makes you progressively weaker, in both mental and physical sense. More irritable, prone to depression. All your abilities drop.
No wonder that trouble sleeping is the first sign of psychiatric disorders such as schizophrenia.

Thank you

Sommelier / waitron at high end restaurant.

I walk somewhere in between 6-8K a night at a fast clip. Can't keep gains it seems. I bring food and proton shakes but still hard to stay on the gains train.
I train3x week, fitter than last year but still not as good as I once was. Getting old sucks too, slower recovery.

Still, we are all gonna make it.

PR specialist in independent publishing house.

8 hours sitting = shitty mobillity.
