Was this an appropriate outcome? Who has the better claim?

Was this an appropriate outcome? Who has the better claim?
Were Wrocław, Szczecin, Gdańsk and Kaliningrad historically more Russian/Polish or German?

We see your mother as a shitty fucking whore OP

Not worth any penny.

>Was this an appropriate outcome?
Yes. I would have gone so far as to see Kallingrad given to Poland as well. Although I know from a strategic standpoint is important for the USSR.

All of it was justified except Stettin

>Was this an appropriate outcome?

No, the Karaliaucius area should have gone to Lithuania and while Poland regained its lands in the west that had been lost to the Germans, it shouldn’t have lost Kresy in the east but what you going do?

Otherwise, the final cleansing of the German colonial cancer in Eastern Europe was long over due and one of the few good things the Soviets did.

honestly Poland got too much land. the balance of power is forever disrupted in Europe. giving Kaliningrad to Poland would eventually turn Poland into a France or UK-tier world power.

Historically the clay belonged to Poland and Lithuania, but Russia demanded part and no-one was in a position to stop them.

Poland got the wrong land, Silesia should have gone to Czechy and Belarus and western Ukraine should have gone to Poland, but of course the Russians were not interested in a strong Poland.

>Poland got too much land.
Since when net negative is considered "too much"?

Prussian, not necessarily German

It's justified in making a more aesthetic border

Not really, it's a straight line (straight lines are the worst kind of border( that juts away from the Oder-Niesse Line. Stettin should be the easternmost city of Germany, not the westernmost city of Poland.

reminder that rivers are oftentimes better suited for national travel and trade as opposed to borders. looks like stettin is situated on the river quite a bit. it’d be stupid to cut it off from it.

>Poland got too much land.
Poland got less than they had before WWII. Also, majorit of land in the West was destroyed by war and retreating krauts.

Then let Germany keep it? It wants like other areas that had large Polish populations

might as well fetch more pommerania.

Poland should have annexed East Germany too. It was historical Slavic land anyway.

>Were Wrocław, Szczecin, Gdańsk and Kaliningrad historically more Russian
WTF???

Oh the blue line borders would have been great...

>Silesia
it's a mess
>Szczecin
Poland doesn't really have any real claim on that
>Gdańsk, Prussia
This depends whether you think German colonisation gives them claims on those regions or not.

>Poland doesn't really have any real claim on that
It has

Let me rephrase that
>any serious claim

as opposed to germany that didn't exist up to 1871?

Germany shouldn't exist as a united country, but that doesn't automatically mean Pomerania should be Polish

poland has claim to pomerania through Piast dynasty, Griffin dynasty was their offshoot.

And they lost it...

>This depends whether you think German colonisation gives them claims on those regions or not.
If that's the case, it gives Poland all the claims and Germany loses them all.

>be german peasant
>run away from your opressive HRE shithole to more civilized: Bohemia, Poland, Hungary

>few centuries later
>DUDE IT WUZ ALL GERMAN N SHIT, AIN'T SHITTINA YA MAN
