So yeah, I just really needed to get this off my chest. I am really sorry Veeky Forums bros, but I did squats in the smith machine and I am extremely ashamed of it. My only redemption is that I added extra 50lb to compensate.

I use less weight than I'm suposed to and make it up with more sets because of "hypertrophia" but it's because heavy weights are too scary

I started working out 3 months ago and in I got the most gains in squats, went from barely doing 30 kg 3x10 to doing 70kg 3x10

I don't see why anyone would dislike an exercise that can boost your confidence that much.

Sure form is the most important thing, but it's not that hard to get unless you suffer from some weird condition of some shit.

i tore my mcl in half a few years ago and had to get it reattached. If I point my foot out too far my knee collapses inward slightly. No pain at all but it just feels like a dead spot
