I'm 18 years old and I believe I have low test.
>constantly tired though sleeping ~8h a day
>shitty gains considering I've been lifting for 3 years. I weigh my every meal, get 2g protons/lb and eat more cals than I burn, routine is PPL

What do u think? Do I still have a chance? Should I see a doc?

could be a million things, everyone just immediately decides it must be 'muh low test'. There's more than one chemical in your body that determines how you feel and act, actually there's hundreds if not thousands.

You say you eat more than you burn but you look pretty skinny. You've got room to bulk. Eat even more, lift even harder, do a solid proven routine and not just made up bullshit. If you've really been lifting for 3 years I doubt you've been using your time effectively.

sounds like it could be low test. could be from malnutrition (low magnesium, low fat diet, low selenium etc), high stress or seasonal depreasion

see a doc for a mens health blood test (test and such) an a chat about your symptoms and concerns.

doc mght say 250 ng/dl is normal test. it is normal for a bedridden senior citizen, not for a hard charging 20 something.

have you ever tried eating a 500kcal surplus and following a strength training routine ? if you still cant get stronger that way you might have a case but to me it seems you are halfassing your training or not eating enough. hard to tell through the internet though...

Yeah, but the lack of test would explain my physical and psychological problems thats why I am suspecting it. But about my bf% I was skinnier last summer and definitely have gone up fat just dont want to turbo bulk like last winter which made me get a lot of stretch marks. First 1.5 years i didnt pay attention to nutrition though.

I look way better than that now as I am prescribed 200mg of test every 2 weeks. I lifted 4 days a week consistently, never missed a workout, and diet was on point. It was extremely hard to cut as my metabolism was shot, and fat distribution was fucked. It was a big achievement when I got those "abs" to appear.

Go to the doc and talk about it. Also look into dealing with whatever is stressing you, if it's depression, seek medical help and therapy.

OP is complaining of the Low T symptoms so he should get tested to rule it out, but odds are very likely its low T.

Dude you don't know shit about Low T or frankly testosterone. Low T does not affect the muscle mass the person can carry greatly, but how easy it is build the mass. The biggest effect of testosterone is protein synthesis. People taking superhuman dosages do not apply to this conversation.

He needs to age and grow he is 18 with a small frame and he wants to lift like a 30 year old at 5’10 that weighs 200. Most people can’t bench their own body weight. Young guys are also at a disadvantage as there check hasn’t filled in yet.

Depression can actually be a symptom of low testosterone if coupled with the other symptoms OP has mentioned. At the same time though, it might also be a cause of those same symptoms, outside of the low beard growth.

I'd talk to your doctor about it, and depending on his conclusion he'll probably recommend either an anti-depressant and a therapist, or a testosterone supplement. Either way, it should fix your problem.
