I did bodyweight for a month and it was frustrating. I decided to join a gym and in 2.5 months with a proper diet, I gained 15 lbs and felt stronger than ever

I do calisthetics and cardio because it is a serious weight loser. I lost 30 pounds from 5k runs, and crunches and squats in 3 months. I'm not looking to be muscular, I just want to be average and pretty androgynous so it works for me. It also helps you get those curves in your mid section. But if you think it's gonna make you muscular, you're a fool.

I'm doing calisthenics and I look like his 1 year at 2 years.

I dont do weighted dips anymore. I can do most advanced dip variations so i dont bother. No reason to add weight.
I just do weighted chin ups now to build up strength for 1 arm chin up.

I dont really bother with routines so i cant really recommend any. One thing i can say is whatever routine you pick make sure it involves dips. Push ups just arent enough for chest.
Also in terms of getting size it will vary in your strength and training. For example if you are doing a lot of pull ups and progressions to a 1 armed pull up you will get a developed back.

I mean its ok but its really all technique and theres a lot of body twisting. I can do then for reps but i never use them as part of my regular training because its really not much of a chest or tricep exercise. Do them if you want but dips are far superor imo.

Thinking that the only way to get fit or to build a stronger fitter better looking body is by lifting weights is why a shit load of dudes look like shit and have ruined bodies.

I just do 3x10 ring dips, pullups, rows, rto pushups for upper.
3x10 Pistol squts and one leg calf raises for lower.
Core I do 3x10 toe to bar leg raises, 4x25 crunches and side crunches. Then a couple minutes of planks, hollowbodies, superman holds, and back bridges.
Also run 5k as many days a week as my body can take.

And he still looks better than every bodyweightfag. How? Because barbells are just so effective.
