I lifted for years before having a massive leg injury(broke the femur in about 15 spots). I basically had to do nothing for about 6 months while dicking about recovering, and then dicked about for another year or so before trying to get back into the gym. I have lost an insane amount of strength, and I'm trying to get it back.

What I'm curious about is I know that new lifters should never use gear because they will fuck up tendons because they haven't developed. Can that atrophy or weaken as well, and if so would it still be ok to do a single cycle to catch back up. I have no desire to life in roid town permanently, but I can't stand how much strength I lost.

I didn't know if anyone knew about disuse and them becoming weak or if it was like "you work them and then they are good for a long time."

The reason I dose before bed is because you want the gh during sleep/recovery but honestly the main reason is so I don't binge eat. I dose literally minutes before laying down. An ideal diet imho would be maybe some grass fed ribeye beef and broccoli stir fry in coconut oil twice a week and lean meat the rest of the week. Totally making that up but it instinctively feels good to me personally.
