Best lat exercises? Been working them 3 days a week and they still look like shit. Is there a genetic factor as to whether your lats are visible from the front?

Rolling your shoulders forward to make traps look bigger makes you look like a damn fool.

...

weighted wide grip pull ups, if can't do weighted then you're not at the big lats stage yet. once you can do them twice a week and do them hard, do one arm db row and barbell rows on the same workout, 3 sets of each.

This.You ain't fooling anyone :^)

can this torso be achieved natty?

>wide grip pullups for wide lats
This is complete broscience.

Pulldowns, Deadlifts and any kind of row

Also retract the spatula for visible lats

Not him but it's hardly broscience, it makes perfect physical sense.

Related tip: Putting the thumbs above the bar (all fingers on same side) increases lower lat usage significantly in pull ups

Also OP don't forget if you're rolling your shoulders forward so that your traps look bigger you're making your lats decontract.

>wider hand grip = lower range of motion
>lower range of motion = more muscle activation

1. (6x3), (3x2) Power Clean from Floor (alternate) (6x3), (3x2) Power Snatch from Hang

2. (6x15) Bodyweight Pull-ups (alternate) (6x5) Weighted Chin-ups

This is the most efficient way to build a top tier back. Row fags need not apply. Prove me wrong nerds...

This.
You're fucking retarded

>it's not broscience because it makes sense to me, a non-expert in human physiology and biomechanics
Yeah okay. All wide grip does is reduce the range of motion. There is no added benefit to doing pullups this way.

>you have to be able to do weighted pullups before you start rowing
Fucking wew, lad. You're on a roll.

holy shit this gif kek

Chinups, Pullups, Rows.

Anything, anyone else will tell you is fucking retarded bullshit.

Deadlifts are pretty suboptimal for maximum lat growth.

>Also retract the spatula for visible lats
You mean scapula. Also, retracting it makes the lats less visible, not more. Flaring the lats means abducting the scapula.

Watch some Dorian Yates lat training videos / read his philosophy on it.

Close, neutral grip lat pulldowns are great for lat development.

he looks like he's about to fly off

>arm pulled back
pic related

Rows work thickness and deadlifts are a meme.
