However there's more to MMA than that, although you might not think it if you look at who they are matching Conor with. It's just a big cash grab, his style is entertaining and he sells tickets, but if they make it a legit competition and put him in with Nurmagomedov he will get fucking destroyed in the first round. His ground game is subpar and has been throughout his whole amatuer and pro career. He can't be considered great if he is lacking in such a fundamental part of the fight game.
