The French were thought to have more "Nordic" blood than any other non-Germanic country, and be of the "Alpine" and "Mediterranean" races otherwise, which put them higher on the scale than the Eastern Europeans, who were supposedly less than 1/5 "Nordic" and usually some mix of "East Baltic" and "Inner Asiatic". They did have cruel plans for France though even beyond their usual war treatment , because Hitler really hated them. Sort of. Northern France, particularly Northeastern France, was thought to be predominantly Nordic. Central, Southwest, and Northwest France was thought to be Alpine. And south, particularly Southeast France, was thought to be Mediterranean. These were racial classifications. In Nazi thought, the European racial hierarchy was:

I'm a Slovak and I have no clue what you're on about. Most people the frontline passed in '45 fondly remember the German troops who behaved like civilized human beings and deeply resent the communist (((liberators))) who were just glorified looters and rapists.
