???

pretty sure he is stronger than your DYEL ass

He's fatter that's for sure.

fact :That obese fuck has absolutely no notable accomplishments.

fact : Everyone he has trained has no notable accomplishments.

fact : Everyone who followed his program has no notable accomplishments.

His accomplishments are educating many people and crafting an enduring lifting program that does exactly what its meant to do.

The people he trains are not training for powerlifting, they train to get bigger to do other things. Chances are there are people in D1 football programs or the NFL who were once small but may have done Starting Strength and it set them on the right path.

D1 players/aspiring athletes go to De Franco. The prime example of a Rippetoeian athlete is Izzy Narvaez who only did "optimal training" and ended up quitting powerlifting which is a shame because Izzy is a genuinely smart, talented and dedicated guy,

He's a fucking strength coach, not an elite athlete.

A strength coach with no successful athletes. Your HS gym teacher and local powerfliters could do a better job than him.

he educated tons of mediocre/clueless people in the art of being fatasses with shitty stats?

wow, truly a revolutionary.

There are tons of other coaches who have not only accomplished great things themselves, but also coached people who become world level performers.

rippletits isn't one of them, he's about as credible as jason blaha.

His program is good. You can add some isolation and fourth set of8 to upper body exercises to make it more aesthetic.

Along with comes a book which explains how to do the exercises. Very accuratly too.

GOMAD is retarded if your goal isnt strength only. its not for everyone, yet some people are dumb enough to think so.

There's plenty of succesful athletes that have started out with starting strength. But a 6 month program is not even one fifth of an elite athletes path to victory. Maybe one tenth. Maybe.

>but a 6 month program is not enough
In one of his interviews, De Franco talked about increasing a track and field athlete's speed in a weekend just by doing corrective exercises and the needed drills.

Dave Tate can put about 15kg on your bench in his seminars just from fixing your form.

The there's Sheiko, Wolf and Korte. From all of the famous trainers you could choose to shill, you are shilling the one whose success stories are Lascek, Evetts and Narvaez.

Why? Seriously why? If it wasn't for the book, he would be a literal nobody.

>If it wasn't for the book, he would be a literal nobody.

So? The book is why he's big. That's the entire reason.

>Dave Tate can put about 15kg on your bench in his seminars just from fixing your form.

Bet you 100 dollars he couldn't do this to anyone who learned his form from SS. So yeah, maybe if you're absolute dogshit this would be true.

Dave tate cpuld do that with people who already bench 240kg+ not a novice. Because they have shitte technique

That's what I am saying. His claim to fame isn't the performance of his athletes (because he has none) but a book that the Internet lifters gobbled up so they could be exercise hipsters and feel supperior to the bros (who are way bigger and stronger but that's for another time).

Every time ol' Ripp has a spat with people who know their shit, he gets his ass handed to him. He tried to pick a fight with Louie, Chad Smith, Max Aita, Crossfit and the T-nation community. It ended as well as you can imagine.

His overall message is a good one - focus on the big lifts and eat - but his dogmatic insistance on low-volume/high-intensity, his holier-than-thou attitude, his squat "technique" and his weird understanding of periodisation and strength training in general make him unbearable.

If you want to read a down-to-Earth book about lifting, start with Dinosaur Training. NOW GO AND LIFT SOME FUCKING WEIGHTS!!!!

Also corrective exercises doesnt do much. Sprinting is mostly technique.

Who the fuck is this?

If you are a novice/dogshit at the lift, then the increase would be far greater because you will have more technical failures. This is common sense.

Also, if you expect a book to teach you how to do an exercise, instead of a coach, then you need to reenter reality.

>corrective exercises doesn't do much
lol

It works if you need rehab. As they are a step towards doing bigger exercises.
If you think corrective exercises is really good then you should update yourself within the physio world.

>It works if you need rehab. As they are a step towards doing bigger exercises.
Thanks for agreeing with me.

I hope I can deadlift lmao5pl8 at age 60
