I want to cardio outside, especially run. But I have no safe place to do it.

I live in the suburbs and I'm afraid I'd get run over by someone reversing out of their drive way.

also, anyone here have hip pain after running? my left hip joint burns a tiny bit post run recently but clears up after a few days. then it happens again. halp me.

Use you eyes and ears. If you're deaf you can still look for cars. If you don't have good enough vision to see if cars are backing up into you then you probably can't even see where you're running anyway.

i started a new job as forklift driver after being made redundant and my hours are all over the place right now ( early of late shifts) plus my new work boots have given me amazing blisters on the bottom of my feet which burst and are now healing, once i sort my hours out to get more consistency i will be back to running a 5k 4 times a week after i spend a week in full depression as i attempt to do one and realise how out of shape ive gotten through simply not doing it for a few weeks

It's OK to stop jogging half way. Just run again when you catch your breath or pace yourself better

Cardio will strengthen your lungs.
Keep aiming to run for 15 min. Sooner or later you'll do it and eventually it will feel easier.

Because I ran an 8 mile hill run yesterday and was going to run today, but it started fucking raining. I run in Xeroshoes and couldn't feel assed to get out there and get my feet wet today.

I just got back. My toes and face could have used a bit more warmth, though.

I saw some ice ponds but they were too thin to ride on. Has anybody ridden their bike on ice? I really want to try it.

I've not been out too much this week as we've had ice near my place. I'm gutted though, really wanted to get a few good runs in. Is it retardedly stupid to try running in these conditions?

Just get some shoes or boots on and go sliding instead of running.
