night time at my uni gym is filled with chads that all squat at least 2.5pl8 for reps. nobody blinks at something like 3pl8, not even the girls care because it's typical

on the other hand over winter break one time I went to a local gym near home with my sister. I was squatting 305x5 (5'7 @ ~155 lbs) and she said people stopped and stared at me lol

Doing squats and deadlifts with *any* sort of significant weight on them well get you looks *at typical gyms*. Especially when you're slamming that shit down like on his DLs.

Literally what? I go to the most normie gym in my country which is filled with gymbunnies, middle age NYR and teenagers and there's always people squatting and deadlifting. Stronglifts is basically the go to routine for anyone who starts lifting.
