For all that deadlifting hits, no. For back: any pulls such as rows.

If you already back squat 3 times a week you don't _need_ deadlifts and you can just throw in weighted back extensions once a week. Personally I alternate deadlifts with power cleans.

If the reason is back injury, just make absolutely sure you get form down early and start with lighter weights.

DL is a great exercise for gains - maybe only bench and squat come close.

Power cleans and lunges are enough for any non-compete
