I diddly 500 and squat 455, I just wanted to know.
Why?

This is what I do and my arms aren't anything great.
I've noticed most big guys do other stuff for biceps then curl smaller weight towards the end of the workout.
I don't know though, I still like curling heavy.

Personally I think 50lbs for reps is pretty good senpai. Not amazing but well above average.

I dont see a lot of people who curl 50lbs without horrible form or who arnt beyond obviously roided out gorillas or who arnt "bear mode" big ugly fucks. So good on you.

But of course everyone on Veeky Forums curls 100lbs with perfect form, is seven feet tall and fucks twenty seven 10/10s every weekend so im prepared to be disagreed with.

I can curl DB curl 70lbs for reps, but I don't do it because the movement stops being an isolation and turns into a compound movement.

I never go higher than 30-35lbs now and my arms are the biggest they've ever been. Because the muscle is actually being worked with most of that weight, instead of just 10% of it.

after getting to about 30lbs, i noticed a wierd clicking sensation in my elbows when i curled.

stopped immediately, never looked back. now my triceps are way bigger than my biceps.

Stop. He's right. I can momentum swing 1pl8 or take slow, controlled, eccentrically weighted reps and yield better results with 35's or 40's.
