How do you prepare your oats?

how do you prepare your oats?

1-cup oats
2-cups water
microwave 2 minutes
couple table spoons of some kind of almond butter
bit of whey
cinnamon

>(((microwave)))

step 1. throw oats into trash
step 2. chop up a potato and make some homefries

how do people microwave them so little? I need to microwave them for like 5 minutes (stirring every minute or so) before all the liquid has been absorbed. might be because I use milk

depends on the type or youve got a shit microwave

there was some ass clown a while back that complained about the time it took to microwave steel cut oats

nah, I know steel cut takes 30 or so minutes

I do use regular old fashioned though, so I could see if op used quick oats how they'd take 2 minutes

I just eat them.

I like them raw

>microwaving oats
>not boiling them

1/2 cup oats
1 cup water
Stir
Microwave for 1.5 min.
Add 1 tsp cinnamon
Stir

>water instead of milk

are you vegan retarded, or just retarded?

Why are oats so shit tier?

Literally takes an hour just to finish the damn things

one part oats two parts milk. microwaved, add peanut butter and a teensy bit of sugar.
>sugar
fuck off I've almost escaped skelly

>pour oats into bowl
>pour milk on oats
>eat
I honestly don't understand all this microwave bullshit

This but with milk.
Of course they're better when cooked on the stove, but I'm hardly ever awake early enough for that.

you're eating a raw grain

do you also eat wheat and rice without cooking them?

are you a horse?

>you're eating a raw grain

they're actually usually heated through before packaging, not to mention soaking them overnight or putting them in some yogurt, calm down matey

Don't tell me, you also stovetop popcorn and boil your ramen

I have a glass of milk on the side. I tried cooking them with milk instead of water once and didn't like it.

...

I-I do.

I make them into hudson bay bread and eat them with blackberry jam

>using a microwave to cook
>intelligent with taste buds
