Lean in close brah, lean in real good. Lemme tell you summin. First. Your hair? Say goodbye, its fucked. You can take fin, keep what your have but the places where its slick bald arent coming back. Now, senpai, when you take a picture of your ratty ass weave make sure you take the Vaseline of the lens. Take a picture of your hair line, the top of your hair and if you can a wet picture so we can see how truly JUST your hair is.

Anyway, if you're really worried about your hair just buy Finasteride off the internet and forget your worries. Dont let hairlets tell your to man up and be confident. Girls cant run their hands through confidence.

>Just man up and shave it brah

...

Is this Pasta?

No, it was my genuine advice to someone worried about his hair.

To anyone else that thinks balding is not a big deal. You need to be realistic. People say it's okay to be bald in the same way it's okay to be in a wheel chair. It's something you can't help, so you should just deal with it.
Remember the hooplah over William? The media tore him to shreds, called him undersirable, ugly, past his prime... all because he went bald.

How can someone just suck that up and move on? If there's a way to save one's hair they should do everything in their power to save it.

I ordered vitamins masT uses and a bunch of others and if that doesn't help in 4 months I'm hoping on fin+min.

If it is noticeably starting to bald get on the big 3 immediately. Don't listening to the baldcel retards that tell you to shave it. Literally no women fantasize about bald men.

You don't look like it's bad at all? Is it thinning on top?

Not on top but it's thinning evenly all over the head. My hair is actually thickest at the top. It's obvious that I lost a lot if you compare my forehead in first and second picture

I've had B12 deficency which caused me depression, brain fog and a bunch of other bad symptoms. I don't know if I can attribute balding to b12 deficency but unless it grows back I'll start using fin and minoxidil. Can't cope with hairloss brehs

The best results come from spotting it early. Nobody knows your hair better than you.

Early signs of balding:

Hair is harder to style, won't fall into place
Hair feels less voluminous, thinner
Hair is takes on a lighter hue
Receding temples
Hair that falls out appears thin and wispy, like a spider web, becomes noticeably shorter over time
The wind fucks up your hair with even a slight breeze
Your scalp is EASILY visible under strong light eg; bathroom lights or the sun.

For your own sake, do not ignore these signs. It's not a "vitamin deficiency" or lack of sleep or stress. This is male pattern baldness. Denying it and avoiding the big three will hurt you in the long run. It's possible to save and thicken up what's there, but what's already lost may never return.

But it's long in first pic and buzz cut in second, I think you might be overreacting. Mabe post more pics

>It's not a "vitamin deficiency" or lack of sleep or stress
I had a blood test which confirm I had a vitamin deficency. Legit stuff. A lot of people report having thicker hair after healing their anemia. And I'm not copeceling either. I'm aware it looks bad and I'm doing everything I can to stop/reverse it without using drugs which have terrible side effects. If that fails I can still join the dark side and start using the big three.

I have pretty much all of the signs you listed ;_;

Cmon. Even my hairdresser commented that "wow it's so thin" last time I went there

Bunch of bitch boys, just shave it and take on a real challenge.

I did it Veeky Forums.
I feel like a man. even though I look like a bitch.

When I first noticed that "wow, I'm going bald" almost a year ago, I went to the store that same night, bought clippers, came back home and buzzed my hair. Then I grew a stubble. I love it - I save hundreds every year, I don't have to worry about my hair, I don't have to wait for my hair to dry after a shower etc. It's very fucking liberating.

I'm in no denial about the effect of going bald has on my appearance and desirability - it's a big negative. Every single man would look way better with hair than bald, even The Rock and Jason Statham. Pic related bought a wig and went from "that creepy rapist stalker dude who probably has AIDS" to "male model Chad" in 5 seconds. It's unbelievable how much having hair improves your looks.

But the thing is... I don't care. What's really the biggest reason why men are devastated when they start balding? "I will never get pussy again because of my baldness" That's it. And if I never get pussy ever again, I'm perfectly cool with it. If the itch becomes unbearable, I can always go see a hooker. Getting pussy is not a good enough reason to start popping pills that MIGHT break my dick forever, give me 24/7 ball ache for the rest of my life, give me manboobs or make my so suicidal that I can't help but kill myself.

Of course, the story is different for the 99% of you who value your looks above all and want to get as much pussy as possible, whatever it takes.

That dude seem to not have a very good skull shape for baldness though. If it's wider at the top you really look weird and creepy, like some sort of deformed James Bond villain.

>tfw 18 and hairline is already this far gone
Fuck.

Been on fin for 5 years. No ball ache, no dick problems.

Caught it early and stopped that shit. Balding is unnecessary if you can just pop 1 pill every morning.

yeah but how expensive are the pills?
that doesn't look bad my dude.

Congratulations on having no sides. That's why I wrote

>MIGHT

You and thousands of others have no sides, great. But there are thousands of men who are suffering from side effects of finasteride, many of them severe. I'm not going to roll the dice. It's not worth the risk for me.

Same but with less stellar results. It slowed it down significantly but recently I've noticed that I have this sort of scalp line that's quite visible under semi strong light, so I'm in this "slowed down to a crawl" camp. It hasn't stopped.

But it's still a very reasonable proposition. As you age, your hair becomes less and less important and so simply slowing down baldness may be acceptable. You'll age relatively gracefully and things won't go away in a catastrophic fashion.

I've recently started experiencing with pumpkin seed oil and will probably try saw palmetto, which might crash my DHT completely so I'll have to be careful.

But otherwise no noticeable side effects from fin.

Rich Piana had a hair transplant. Dunno why he did an FUT though. You can clearly see the scar at the back of his head. I think he did another one recently cause he shaved his head again and you can clearly see the scar.

youtu.be/35SZHqL3Feo

You can clearly see the FUT scar while his driving. Shoulda done FUE. Anyway he even did a video of him showing his hair drugs and he's been on fin for years. WHATEVER IT TAKES

Track your hairline. It might not actually be balding. I've always had a high hairline and a widow's peak. At first I thought I was losing my hair, but it's been stable for years.

There are side effects to any goddamn medication. When last did you read the instruction manual that comes with Asperin even?

Just get an FUE done to fill in the gaps. If Fin slows it down enough you can do a small FUE sesh every 10 years till the "cure" comes out.

Why are you trying to convince me to hop on Fin? Why are you defending your choice so vehemently?

It doesn't look too bad because I have shit in it to clump it together. Posted a picture here the other day and everyone was telling me that I'm fucked. Thinking of going with a buzz cut.

I don't actually give a flying fuck what you do. But if you're posting in a baldfag thread about fin killing dicks when it's a side effect that affects about as much people as the side effects of Asperin as a "valid reason" so I have to call out stupidity when I see it.

I've always wondered why there hasn't been stem cell based procedure where the air is generated outside the body.

I'll readily admit I have no fucking idea if hairs can be generated from stem cell.

I've been buzzing my hair since I was a teen and I noticed it started thinning. As long as you're not repulsive and completely lacking in social skills you'll be just fine, man. You'll even find that if you can pull off the bald with stubble or beard look that there are more people "into" it than people particularly turned off by the fact that you don't have hair.

Actually lifting so you don't look like literal Auschwitz or chemo mode when you go bald will also help

In the end just decide if your self worth is really that tied in to your hair. I think its kind of crazy to be on medication and have procedures done for something so common, but if you need that then whatever.

Why not just get a hair transplant? Is it cause you are poor fag?

It's been falling out over the past year. That birthmark was decently behind my hair line last year.

Looked better before. Also, DYEL?

Not him, but fin scare mongering stops people who could save their hair from even trying it.
Around 1% of people on fin experience sides and even less of those see those sides continue after a few months.

When I see someone running around saying fin is poison the phrase "misery loves company" comes to mind.

I did a hair transplant on my hairline. It took like 1 day of my life and 2 weeks off from work. I just pop 1mg Finesteride each day and forget about it. I actually forgot I was once balding till I saw this thread.

Not a single person even noticed or commented about it. It's like getting your eyes fixed these days. Unless you're poor as fuck I don't see why you'd even contemplate not doing it.

>Not a single person even noticed or commented about it.

I don't see how people would ever comment on that. I'm not saying you're wrong.

>In the study's first year, 15 percent of the men on finasteride suffered new sexual side effects, compared with only 7 percent of the men on placebos.

>"There were real, ill effects from the drug," recalls lead investigator Hunter Wessells, M.D., chairman of the department of urology at the University of Washington school of medicine. "In some men, finasteride caused erectile dysfunction; in others it decreased ejaculate volume; and in others it reduced libido."

>For most of the men, the finasteride-induced sexual problems proved tolerable. But for as many as 4 percent of them, the side effects were severe enough that they dropped out of the study altogether.

menshealth.com/health/hair-raising-effect

Not that guy but I avoided fin for years because of the internet and I wish I started sooner

Well then try it and stop if it doesn't work out for you? It costs me 30 bucks for a 3 month supply with no noticeable side effects. (Perhaps there has been side effects but I don't fucking feel them.)

You also want to try pumpkin seed oil. Pic related.

If you are currently taking propecia or any other alternative, STOP RIGHT NOW! It's just a matter of time before you get fucked over by this poison. Some men's bodies handle the poison better than others; but it's the dose which makes the poison so the longer you poison yourself, the more likely bad shit is going to happen to you.

Your testosterone is way more valuable than your hair. Trust me. I learned the hard way. Most guys don't realize just how essential this gift from God is until you don't have it. Without testosterone functioning properly, you cannot grow muscles, fuck women, or even think straight. It's essential to every function as a man.

Better hair replacement technology is coming in the next ten years anyways. Hair cloning will be upon us before you know it. Don't risk your health on this scam foisted upon men. There are currently class action lawsuits against the company, although as usual because it only affects men most people don't give a fuck. Propecia is engaged in false advertising on two counts:

1. They say negative side effects only happen to 2%, when it's clear from the forum I linked above that it's way higher than that. My guess is somewhere between 10%-20% of men suffer terrible effects.

2. They say negative side effects are only temporary, when in fact tons of men suffer from permanent damage, either in loss of sex function, muscle function, or joint function.

This pill is yet another example of big pharma selling bullshit in order to make profits. Don't let yourself be a victim of this insanely evil industry.

You've been warned.

Yeah don't take fin. Stay bald so I have more pussy to stay.

That's a great sampling technique you've just used. No selection bias at all.

At all.

I think fin affects dudes that are low test badly. If you're a hairy cunt it just stops the DHT which fucks up certain hair follicles.

Don't be a retard about it. If you're a weird ectomorphic gyno prone skinny fat I wouldn't recommend it.

That's my broscience opinion.

Also from frequenting bald forums I think a lot of cunts create their own side effects by over thinking or imagining or self manifesting the shit.

very possible.

Seriously - side effects vary from person to person and with the case of finasteride it's not a simple "hair pill". It impacts male testosterone household by simulating female hormones - the effect against hair-loss is actually a small side-effect of the original goal of the drug. Why is it so hard to understand that anything affecting the male hormone household can have massive side-effects?

I have 2 friends who took the stuff. One is an MD and is still taking it, I stopped, but had little side effects. Another friend took it for a few weeks and it fucked up his system completely - he noticed such a strong decrease in libido, that it wasn't funny.

Studies in our times have to be analysed strongly. Finasteride in contrast to a cold medicine is to be taken for years and decades even. Peer-review means little nowadays and you have to take a hard look into the study design.

I had back and shoulder hair by the time I was 18. My libido is very high, and I can stay rock solid long enough to have multiple orgasms. I have never had my T levels checked, but as of now, as a 21 year old, I'm on fin. I've had no side effects to date, going on month 3. There may be something to that idea that higher T men can handle it

If anything porn and masturbation have a higher correlation to sexual dysfunction and eretile problems than fin. Just a thought.

because finding a cure is not as profitable as offering lifelong "treatment" such as finasteride, you dumb goy! :^)

I don't know. I went through years of denial because my hair was so fucking thick and declining slowly (I'm 35 btw). Now I wish I started earlier desu. finasteride stopped the hair loss from as early as the first week, and I'm seeing some decent regrowth in the temples three months in.

I had ZERO sexual side effects, no mental dulling (probably was already dumb). Probably it did making muscle harder, yes. DHT is -very- related to muscle growth. However, I'm not in a bad shape anyway.

I don't rule out some people get bad sides from this drug, but if you're informed about it, you'd know it only blocks a fucking enzyme that converts test into dht. It doesn't do anything permanent, you can just stop taking it and that's fucking it, dht will come back.

Honestly, I think most of the side effects are from people that are very susceptible to estrogen. By blocking the test-dht conversion you end up with MORE test that than usual, that aromatizes into estrogen. But what if you add an AI to the finasteride regime? HA!

that's what I did anyway. That's probably why I have zero side effects.

Add Nizoral 2x a week to your routine. Eliminates scalp DHT further.

How important can hair be at 35? I'm not saying you want to look like trash but it seems that 35 is a reasonable age to lose hair. I'm 28 now and it bothers me much less than when I noticed that it had begun when I was 22.

Not even balding but I was born with a JUST hairline

fucking hell

saving up for hair transplant soon

It matters somewhat for career progression. Good looking people get paid more. There's studies done. Other than that not much. I'm 33 and it's definitely not that important if you're already settled. But I do notice people treat bald people different in corporate environments, unless they're already high up and have power.

I think it's pretty important. Obviously, being bald at 20 would be 10 times worse, but having a full head of hair really does a difference. Just like being slim or anything else.

It all comes down to being vain, that much I'll admit. But I like to look in the mirror and seeing myself as young as possible. Most people rarely say I look older than 27-28. I'd like to keep it that way as long as possible.

believe the science, people. It is scientific fact that sides appear in

SAME! I let the pills sit on my desk for over a year before I got a new scrip and started taking them. All because of the internet. Been on em for 2 years with zero sides and amazing results. But wish i started earlier. Dont give in to the fear mongering

Managed properly I would have thought that baldness in corporate environment would imply seniority, which would be good.

That's all very fair. But I feel terrible for those who have very shitty hair when young. I'd like to know how common it was in the past because I suspect it's linked to diet.

Proud of you user. How have people reacted?

theyre shocked, but they'll adjust in time.
