someone post some meal ideas for a cut, im getting bored of brown rice and roasted meat/chicken breasts. Green vegetables are kinda expensive here, and things like lettuce or tomatoes taste like shit after thawing. any ideas?

I still need to learn what I can freeze. I'd ideally want to only be required to cook once a week, but I currently can't do better than once every 96 hours (I wouldn't risk more than 4 days in the fridge for most of the stuff I cook, i.e. pasta, rice, veg, and meats).

As someone who was abruptly cut off, let me tell you how to live on ~$50 a month.

1. Chili - beans + beef + stock will prolly cost you around $1.60 a meal. Add some rice if you want some extra carbs/ to extend out the food rations.

2. Chicken and Rice - not sure the price/meal but its definitely in the chili area.

3. Spaghetti - yeah you're eating hella carbs but I'm also drinking hella carbs drowning my sorrows away. its good if you're hitting the gym just about every day.

4. Tacos - breakfast tacos, sausage tacos, beef tacos, chicken tacos, you name it. Corn tortillas are insanely cheap, and you can add a nice onion or bell peppers to enhance the flavor and get extra nutrients. A 36 pack of flour tortillas and 36 eggs will cost you around $7. Divide that up and you're getting super cheap meals that are great for cutting, but also filling.

5. Protein Shakes - a given; even better with a few cracked eggs in it

6. Peanut butter sandwiches or bagels with milk/almond milk. An easy and cheap way to engulf a quick 700 calories.

Not gonna lie me having to budget my food and not eat out constantly has made me lose around 5 pounds. People have been telling me "Wow you look great" but don't realize I've been carefully rationing out food for the past 2 months.

When I prep I just leave the entree and sides in large containers and portion out that day. Saves dishes and I don't need a bunch of those containers which don't last long anyway. I feel like I'm in a minority doing it this way but it just makes more sense to me.
