First the Egyptians enslaved blacks. Then, when Arabs made contact with blacks, they enslaved them. Then, when Europeans first made contact with blacks, they enslaved them. Oh yeah and blacks often enslaved each other too.
Is anybody noticing a pattern here?
Jace Cox
Think about it for a minute.
Pretty easy.

Because they're a lowly group of people?
Jordan Lopez
Because they kept selling themselves into slavery. (Although there were not very many black slaves in ancient Egypt, and slavery didn't have a racial basis in Egypt anyway.)
Jordan Wilson
The blacks were already enslaved. Largely by their "kin" (more often than not some enemy tribe/kangdom that conquered your village) or Arabs and Berbers. Other peoples just bought them.
Noah Allen
better question how did so many people enslaved blacks were they so physically unfit back then? or are stories about blacks getting sold by tribe leaders true?
Asher Rogers
Africa doesn't have many raw materials that were worth much at the time so they built their own economies based off things readily available mostly slavery and gold
James Peterson
They still do, there is still ton of slavery in most of Africa, Mauritania, a half-negro berber rape-baby nation is still enslaving negros, except North Africans (and later Arabs) had the good sense of castrating them, and hunting for more rather than letting them breed, Europeans couldn't because of the cost of traveling between the old and the new world.
Chase Hall
You know every groups has enslaved or had members who were enslaved?
Jack Peterson
Who did Australian Aboriginals enslave?
Thomas Stewart
Every culture likes taking slaves
Black africans would take Arabs, Europeans, and Turks as slaves.
Proximity + Cost. Why do you think Arabs & Turks took so many white slaves?
Landon Peterson
africa had poor agriculture which means no organized armies
Jack Hill
Everyone enslaved each other, EVERYONE.
It just so happens that niggers bitch and cry the loudest about it.
Jaxon Morales
>implying tons of whyte wimminz weren't taken into slavery either
Easton Price
The emu's of course. The only reason the 1st Emu War broke out was because the last Aboriginal who knew how to enslave the emu's with the hypnotizing call of the Waballongalong instrument (an instrument made out of a combination of wood, ashes and a handful of Eel corpses) died. Thus there being no way to check the cruel Emu's desire for power led to the start of the 1st of many Emu Wars.
Alexander Baker
Now the chinks are slaving them
Matthew Wright
There were organized armies, but not in the numbers that eurasians fielded. At most an african king could field about 10,000 soldiers as the average. Mali at it’s apex had about 100,000 soldiers to use.
Nathaniel Thompson
Fuck off with this meme you neo-con faggot. It’s free market capitalism.
Brody Parker
>Why has every group that's come into contact with blacks decided to enslave them? Because there were iFrican states who sold slaves? Initially to each other but then to foreigners?
Its not as if Ar*bs/Europenises were running around the bush catching whatever they could find.
>First the Egyptians enslaved blacks. This plain wrong though. If you were black in Ancient Egypt you were more likely to be a mercenary instead of a slave, considering egyptian conscript-infantry was absolute shit and the Machimoi (Soldier) class of Ancient Egyptian society were very few.
Parker Young
Neocons love China you false flagging neocon fucking faggot.
Logan Martinez
*insert stressed Chinese supervisor pissed off at lazy local workers.*

That's not how it works, blacks already enslaved each other. The explorers weren't doing the enslaving they just realised the value of slaves.
