Also, claiming communism caused starvation in Russia and China is a bit much. Those countries were going to experience starvation regardless, the countries were still hopelessly underdeveloped. The decisions to withhold grain had less to do with communism ideology and more to do with internal politics. Furthermore the disastrous agricultural techniques used in China were implemented by an amateur from another country, it was not the result of communism but in fact the incompetence of one advisor.
